Front views of Rodger show the top of the neck aimed toward the outer edge (length) of the desk and rear views of Rodger show the top of the desk lamp's neck pointed toward him sitting at the desk. Continuity mistake: When the family stopped along the road for a break, the car towing the camper was parked diagonally to the left (not aligned with the camper). The car was visible behind Alan when he was talking to Ben, but it was not when Alan was walking toward Tyler and Charlie. Also, Alan and Ben were at various distances from the camper. Continuity mistake: Towards the beginning of the flashback, Jahkor gets thrown to the ground. The legs of the bully in the close-up cast a shadow over Jahkor's body. Cut to the next shot, and the shadow is away from Jahkor in a blatant change of direction of the light of the scene. (00:09:35)
Continuity mistake: While Daryn is talking/rapping to Isabelle in the Creamery (ice cream shop), the distance his black earbuds dangle along the zipper in the front of his hoodie vary. At one point, only one earbud is visible. (00:15:00)
Continuity mistake: The kids are in the car with their dad, and despite the best efforts from the youngest, they are reached by his teacher. As the dad starts the "You were killing us" joke, his hand is on/off the steering wheel between shots more than once. (00:07:15)
Continuity mistake: Early in the film, Parker travels to her hometown in a terrible rain storm. She arrives at the Sheriff's office soaking wet, and after a brief meeting, the Sheriff drives her home - in bright sunshine.
Continuity mistake: Theo lays Susanna's phone down - when it cuts back to her phone is lying in the opposite direction.
Continuity mistake: The grilled cheese sandwich was charred while it was still cooking, but not when Jason's dad served it to him. (00:02:00)
Continuity mistake: When Driscoll is walking out to his car with his son, you see the driver's side window is rolled all the way up. When he sees Spenser and goes to talk to him, the window is now rolled down, even though he didn't do anything. (01:22:00)
Continuity mistake: When Johanna and the Captain are being chased by Mr Almay and his associates, their position in the wagon changes. First Johanna is on the Captain's left. Next shot she is on his right. Next shot she is back on his left. (00:42:14)
Continuity mistake: The protagonist receives her gift from Molly Shannon. She unwraps it and puts the discarded wrapping on the counter. When we see it again at the end of the scene, the wrapping is much less torn apart than the first time around (or at least has been arranged neatly). (00:09:45)
Continuity mistake: The flatbed truck that Kyle and Swin got in at the onset of their trip is very different when they parked and went to buy rope (but got tape). The truck style is different, the cargo and its cover have changed (tarp is smaller, a different color, and is wrapped across instead of front to back), and the orange cone/cones change locations. Continuity mistake: Theodore rides once the tiny rollercoaster; the cart comes to a full stop and his left foot is in the space between the bars, but in the next shot the left foot is on the outside. (00:48:00)

Continuity mistake: Monica's station wagon and the moving van Jacob drove to their new property in Arkansas are not parked in the same positions moments after their arrival. Initially, both vehicles are at some distance from the mobile home (or trailer) and are roughly parallel. When the camera shifts to a view from the vehicles toward the mobile home, the vehicles are suddenly a lot closer and their front ends are angled toward each other. (00:02:13)
Continuity mistake: After the scavenger hunt goes live, Jennifer follows it with her grandmother Sue and Aidan does so with his niece Emma. Aidan looks at the photos of participants and sees one of Jennifer and Sue at the art class, and right below is one of him holding Emma with the carollers in the background. Immediately after that, he picks up Emma in front of the carollers and takes the photo he had already been looking at.
Continuity mistake: When Nick leaves to deliver presents he walks out the door and you hear the door close. When his wife goes after him with the flask you see him opening the very same door he's just walked out. (00:24:50)

Continuity mistake: When Theo says, "You can pull them [flowers] out if you want to", there's one flower that is slightly pulled away from the vase, drooping below the others. When Felix [Bill Murray] is next to the flowers, there is not a flower pulled out at first, but there is a few camera shifts later. (00:34:00 - 00:36:37)
