Doom: Annihilation picture

Stupidity: The marines all wear helmets as part of their protective gear when they go into the Phobos compound, but Bennett and Akua do not wear any helmets at all. They wear bullet proof vests and arm themselves with weapons, but unlike the other marines, they go in without any way of protecting their heads.

Black and Blue picture

Stupidity: The movie is set in New Orleans. It's the middle of the day and night, and only five people are shown other than the bad police officers and the drug dealers while they hunt for Officer West. There are no people shopping at the market or out and about in the neighbourhoods.

Stuber picture

Stupidity: Vic has a clean sniper shot with his temporarily newfound eyesight, and goes for the low level goon driving the car rather than the man he's been after all this time for his vendetta - and that is the one shooting at them anyway. (01:15:30)

Hobbs & Shaw picture

Stupidity: Hobbs and Shaw drive towards the helicopter and throw a chain around one of the side pylons, driving away to try and bring it down. Daft considering if they'd just thrown a chain loose into the rotors that would have brought it down immediately without any cars needed.

Fighting with My Family picture

Stupidity: The movie takes creative liberties with the real story; it's understandable, for instance, that it would show Paige being directly on NXT rather than part of the Florida Championship Wrestling promotion first, and that she is the only real character from NXT depicted in the movie. However, the movie chooses also to omit the fact that Paige was NXT Champion when she faced AJ Lee. Not just that, but it alters entirely the dynamic of the actual match; she does not manage to utter a single word because of stage fright, something that movie-wise she seems to have never managed to overcome. Given the changes, the movie asks us to believe that WWE would make a champion out of a complete rookie who is a deer in the headlights in front of a crowd that ignores her and hasn't found her personality yet - she does so only after she wins. That doesn't make a lot of sense even by the movie's own logic.

Gemini Man picture

Stupidity: Despite the fact that the villains know exactly where Brogan is for the better part of the movie thanks to a tracer, and that they display constantly that they are able and willing to hit with bold military operations even to the point of hitting an urban area overruling law enforcement (apparently Clay has authority to do that too), Brogan is able to get undisturbed back in the US through his friend's plane. Considering he was officially marked as a rogue agent and killed 8 DIA operatives, it's hard to see how Baron's plane could ever land on American soil after a long intercontinental flight.

Good Boys picture

Stupidity: When Claude was leaving with the doll, he called the Good Boys "fools" and said he would have paid $1,000. The Good Boys knew how to use the internet to find out the value of the Ascension card [Turzan of Uzkara] and the price for a new drone but didn't think of looking up the cost of a CPR doll before selling it to Claude.

Girl on the Third Floor picture

Stupidity: The marble somehow got under Don's skin at the bottom of his leg and was moving up the length of his body. Instead of heading off the marble in order to intercept and stop it from continuing up his leg, Don got a knife/box cutter and jabbed it into his skin near the bottom of his leg and trailed the marble, causing a long gash that served no purpose (other than creating a lot of blood and making a gory scene). The marble eventually exited his body via his eye. (01:04:40)

Batman: Hush picture

Stupidity: After making love, Selina notices Batman's scars. She surely was caught in the moment, but, it's something she really was bound to notice sooner. (00:53:10)

Suggested correction: She notices the scars on his back first, which are the worst of those on his body, this may well be the first time she sees his back.

Kidnapping Stella picture

Stupidity: The kidnappers steal a silver Citroen van and take it to a junkyard to switch the plates. They steal plates off an older green color Asian type sedan and place them on the van. If the cops run the plates as they normally do random checks as they drive, those plates will not match that vehicle. They should have found the same make and color of Citroen van they stole and swapped plates for plates, the chances of the owner noticing are small. Now if the plates get run they match that vehicle. Gully picture

Stupidity: Angela ran over to her neighbor Mr. Charlie when she heard him come home. Angela was complaining that his son and friends make too much noise, do whatever the want, are bringing property values down, act wild/crazy, draw attention to everybody, and she doesn't want the police coming. These may be legitimate complaints, but the way Angela expressed them would bring down property values! Not only was she yelling in the street, she used "m-f-ing" several times, as well as other select words. (00:02:35 - 00:03:07)

Synchronic picture

Stupidity: Steve wanted all the packets of "Synchronic" destroyed. He bought all that was available in the local store, but he merely placed the intact packets into his small garbage can (instead of flushing or destroying the contents).

Countdown picture

Stupidity: Quinn wasn't able to kill Dr. Sullivan, so decided to kill herself to save her sister (by dying earlier and ending the curse). Instead of telling her younger (teenaged) sister about the Narcan and how to use it, she writes Narcan on her upper arm, assuming her sister will see it in time, know that there is a syringe in her pocket, and not hesitate to inject the Narcan. Quinn left too many steps up to chance and did not take the necessary precautions to help insure she could be revived. At the same time, a registered nurse - even a recent graduate - should know that this would not be the circumstances under which Narcan might be successful in counteracting the morphine. Taking time to say, "I love you, Jordan. I'll always be with you" was wasted time that should have been used giving her sister instructions because Quinn (erroneously) believed her plan would work.
