Plot hole: Aladdin breaks the lamp and that causes the castle to vanish in thin air. The many guards, servants and objects who were not part of the original enchantment but simply transported by the Vizier's wish are somehow also gone, and the genie still has his powers, despite saying that without it "I would be my own man" and that the power was in the lamp.
Other mistake: The Vizier tosses his knife at the invisible Aladdin and hits him, turning him visible. The mistake here is that the special effect shows appearing from nothing Aladdin holding the lamp as a whole. The lamp should have already been visible, it's the object that gave away his position. (01:18:10)
Continuity mistake: During the fight with the vizier's overgrown lizard, Zamir draws the attention of the "big ugly belching beast"' insulting it. The lizard is looking at him, and he's on the beast's right. Aladdin then faces it, but the bad guy force-throws a rock at him and the beast turns towards him, to the left. Zamir then draws its attention again tossing a sword, that hits its...left eye. He was on the other side. (01:06:10 - 01:06:50)
Plot hole: Aladdin and Zamir plan how to infiltrate the castle. There's a window that "seems particularly inviting" in their words. "A man standing on another man's shoulders should be able to make it without effort", Zamir says. So we see Aladdin land inside. And then, Zamir. Whose shoulders did Zamir climb to make the jump? It was just the two of them. (00:59:40)
Other mistake: The evil Vizier took over Aladdin's palace and teleported it to a nearby hill (he orders so himself to the Genie, "yon mountaintop"). Aladdin and friends are shown as being at the bottom of the "mountain", but somehow, the trip that would take less than an hour takes them the whole night and they walk for endless plains with no castle in sight. (00:49:15)
Continuity mistake: In the uphill trip to the Vizier (now Sultan) 's palace, Samad says "To be honest, I'm not in such a hurry to meet up with a wicked man wielding a genie." Aladdin approaches him in a wide shot where everyone's hair and clothes are still, while in every other angle everything is awfully breezy. (00:52:35)
Continuity mistake: Talking about the lamp, the British-Arabian friend of Aladdin says "There's something more below the surface here." Naveena in frame has her hair behind the ear, but at the cut, she has her ear covered by a long bang. It keeps switching back and forth depending on the camera angle. (00:25:10)
Other mistake: Forgetting the fact that the night shoot in front of the cave is obvious day-for-night, since Aladdin does not spend a great amount of time in the cave and the Vizier said they needed to be there "before the moon is full" starting their journey in broad daylight when the market was bustling, it appears quite odd that he'd make his return in plain and full daylight. A whole night can't possibly have passed.
Revealing mistake: Jafar (rather, Vizier Maghreb) throws a tantrum after the Sultan's decision to give power to his daughter. In the following scene, he is going out with the Sultana. The scenery shown has an incredibly fake CGI feeling, including some suspiciously static human figures on a green lawn. To confirm the suspicions, once the market scene is over and the Vizier winks Aladdin into his grasp, the same panoramic view, verbatim, is presented, including the same ant-like static human figurines on the lawn. (00:04:05 - 00:10:55)
Revealing mistake: Aladdin's friends are trying to explain to him that he just met the new ruler of the city. The friend, Dariush, says "Allah has given him eyes and he doth not see." Zamir, the friend with the British accent (that kinda feels like a mistake on its own) interrupts him; "Stop that. You're not a holy man." And by "interrupting" I mean that literally cuts him off as Dariush began to say the word "Words", from his following line "Words of the righteous may fall from any lip", which obviously make sense only as a retort to Zamir. The actor messed up and was blurting his line early. (00:09:40)
Continuity mistake: After Aladdin meets the 'Sultana' for the first time, with his buddies informing him about what just happened, throughout the whole scene the same extras move with jumpy continuity between shots. Very recognizable the veiled pink girl and a really tall dude in a brown robe, or Aladdin's friend himself at the beginning. (00:09:35)
Continuity mistake: Aladdin, his friend and the princess have been captured and are in the presence of the self-appointed (through the genie) Sultan. The lighting of the scene differs between shots, with clear light areas in the front view of the trio and homogeneous shadow from the back view. (01:03:00)
Continuity mistake: When Aladdin and the beautiful woman not legally allowed to be called Jasmine are talking in the forest, she has a lock of hair on the front of the shoulder in the side views, but not on the close-ups, when it disappears behind the large earrings. (00:43:50)
Revealing mistake: Aladdin and his friends are in the middle of nowhere outside of the cave. At the beginning of the take when Zamir says "Start properly, from the beginning", Havon Baraka is looking straight into the camera, turning his eyes to the others only later. (00:24:25)
Continuity mistake: As the Vizier is creeping the Sultana out with backrubs, a servant pops abruptly in frame with a message on a platter. He is holding the platter in a different way (thumb fully on it when he talks about the white horse) between shots. (00:37:10)
Revealing mistake: Aladdin uses the rope horizontally to move past the fire on the floor. Obvious CGI flames get to his clothes and to him, but he does not break a sweat or feel any pain. (00:17:55)
Continuity mistake: The Genie creates a royal palace for Aladdin, who pranks him, acting unimpressed. He then cracks up and throws an arm over his shoulder. He is holding the lamp in that hand, but at the cut, he's holding it in the other hand. (00:35:20)
Continuity mistake: Aladdin's friends are getting into a burping contest (no, really). Naveena says "That stench is worse than a dead camel's backside." without holding her glass, which is in her hand in the shots before and after. (00:29:30)
Continuity mistake: When Aladdin lands with his magic carpet in front of (not) Jasmine, (not) Jafar and two guards, the guards have their weapons at rest while just mere frames earlier they were pointing a spear and a sword at him. (00:39:20)
Continuity mistake: The Vizier has figured out Aladdin is the prince. Meanwhile, "Ali" is walking with the Sultana; in the whole sequence he has the light of the sun (or moon, hard to tell) on him, or not, depending on the angle. (00:42:40)
