Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the girl gets assaulted from the back: you see at first exactly from the shot from behind that the backpack she is carrying escapes her arms, but in the subsequent shot she is still holding it. (00:02:10)

Continuity mistake: The way Linda holds her coffee cup changes numerous times, often instantly with front versus rear views. The handle switches (changes 90° or 180°) from facing towards her chest to her left knee to opposite her chest while holding the cup between her bent knees, which vary in distance apart. Continuity mistake: Young Theo Decker is having his first dinner with the Barbours. Seeing that he's not eating much, Nicole Kidman asks him if he would like her to ask the maid Etta to make something else. On Theo's right, Andy is holding the fork with his right hand. Continuity mistake: The bartender pours two beers that have no foam on the top. When the beers are set on the table they have about one inch of foam. When the camera angle changes there is no foam. (01:18:45)
Continuity mistake: The position of Richard's legs change when he is dead on the stairway landing. Initially, Richard's right leg is bent at the knee and pointing toward the lower flight and his left leg is straight, going up the wall to the next flight. Richard's legs quickly switch from this position when Grace is approaching the landing to his right leg going up the wall and his left leg not visible when Grace reaches the landing. Continuity mistake: During the sign-up for the app at the beginning the girl says "I want to be Sarah." Look at her hair; mostly in front of her left shoulder, just a couple locks on the right side of her face. At the cut, hair behind the left shoulder and a bigger right bang. Factual error: This is set in 1966. The soldiers are all using the Aussie version of the M16 which was introduced in Vietnam by their military in 1967 with limited use and only became more widely used somewhat later.
Suggested correction: There's no such thing as an Aussie version of the M16, they were all made in the USA by Colt, or its contractors. I assume the poster means the M16A1, identifiable by the bolt assist lug on the right hand side and closed flash suppressor.
Other mistake: The flight attendant pulled out a wheeled serving cart as she was talking to the other flight attendant. While shown from the chest up, it was obvious the flight attendant was moving her arms for a little while and it sounded like she was placing a few glasses on the cart then stopped, but the top of the cart was filled with glasses when the cart came back into view. Also, it was not apparent from where the flight attendant had reached to get the glasses. (00:11:25 - 00:12:12)
Continuity mistake: When Enzo was lying in front of the Christmas tree, the wrinkled wrapping paper changed locations a couple times, but there was no sound to indicate Enzo had moved it. Initially, the wrinkled wrapping paper was several inches away from Enzo. Next, smaller pieces were between Enzo's front legs. A couple seconds later, there was wrapping paper on both sides of Enzo's front legs but none between them like earlier. (00:23:58)
Continuity mistake: Higinio emerges from his hideout to strangle with the measuring tape the man who is raping his wife. During the scene, the tape is above or below the shirt's collar and with a dangling loose end coming and going. (01:02:20)
Other mistake: The Burglar (while tied to a chair and talking about "My Darling Clementine") says, "Apex of Ford's art, you feel me?" Vikar (James Franco) responds, "I feel you." The movie starts in 1969, but rapper E-40 (Earl Tyrone Stevens, Sr.) - "slang master" - supposedly created the expression "you feel me" in the early 1990s. (00:19:53)
Continuity mistake: The spacing (almost touching versus several inches apart) and appearance (shape and whether there are shoots) of the two flowers in the vase on Estelle's/Betty's table at the restaurant vary. Other mistake: Nicole was standing up holding a round cake with both hands and was able to tilt the cake down about 45° to show others the top without the cake sliding off the plate - or any icing shifting.
Other mistake: Judy is singing on stage with some showgirls. She is singing into a wired microphone. At the end of the song she twirls around twice, but the microphone does not appear to get wrapped around her. (00:49:35)
