Continuity mistake: Ron Perlman and Famke Janssen are having dinner on his supposed birthday. The whole meal has several continuity errors, with her fork being at different heights, sometimes replaced by the wine glass, etc. (00:34:30)
Continuity mistake: Dan set his lighter on top of the pack of cigarettes with their bottoms flush, but a close-up showed the lighter at an angle with one corner protruding past the bottom of the pack of cigarettes. (00:04:52 - 00:05:28)
Continuity mistake: Mrs. Marsh carries two plates with food to the table and starts to place the plate in her right hand in front of Mr. Marsh, but when the camera shifts, she is placing Jonathan's plate in front of him (and it appears she is doing so with her right hand, not the left hand she was holding Jonathan's in). Continuity mistake: The main character is exercising in the gym and in the background is a man on the abs machine holding the handles above the grips. In the next shot he is holding the grips, and then next shot back to above the grips. (00:38:00)
Continuity mistake: During Elise's flashback to when she was a teenager, she grabs her father, pushes him against the wall and makes him have a vision. However, his position on the wall changes instantly multiple times between cuts. Ex. First he's to the left of the painting on the wall... then the right. Then when he falls, he instantly lowers about a foot between cuts. Etc.
Continuity mistake: In Alice's apartment the clock on the wall has the time as 8:40 when she is standing and kissing David. They have sex and Veronica comes over. Alice and Veronica talk and the clock still shows 8:40. (01:20:00)
Continuity mistake: When Stallone kills the bad guys with skull masks in the corridor of the bar, his motions pointing the pistol don't match the positions of the lemming-like goons he hits. For instance he has the gun all the way to his right for the first one he kills, but the guy is shown with a hole opening in his forehead while he's in the middle of the corridor. (00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: The police shoots one of the kids who were robbing the Nurse. The body is lying on the sidewalk when she says "No, no, I can..." to them holding her at gunpoint, but when Batista kicks the cops around, the body shifted further to the middle of the road - where it should have been to begin with. Continuity mistake: Susan meets backstage Dr. Mitch. He states the obvious saying that she looks alike her twin sister, just more confident, and she cuts him off saying that she knows. She was leaning back with her hands as support, and at the cut she replies to him with her hands joined at the front. (00:09:45)
Continuity mistake: Tom and Hallie are talking in his kitchen about Slender Man after she freaked out during them trying to have sex. He backs up against the island and his left arm goes up behind his back resting on the top of it as he's blurred in the background. The angle cuts to a wide shot and suddenly his arm is down at his side. (01:01:00)
Continuity mistake: Ray is in their new room and pulls out a picture of his daughter. He sits on the bed looking at it and then looks up, staring out the window. His wife walks in as he's still looking straight ahead and then it cuts to an angle from behind and suddenly Ray's head is titled down with him looking down at the picture again. Only for him to lift his head to look out the window again a couple seconds later. (00:13:25)
Continuity mistake: Prior to the guests showing up at the Priest's party, Priest and Georgia have a private dinner downstairs. When he pulls her chair out for her to sit down, 2 wine glasses (one for each setting) are shown with both glasses containing the same amount of wine. When Priest sits down, the maid pours wine into the glass at his setting which is now empty, waiting to be filled.
Continuity mistake: The clothes Tyler and Kassi were wearing at Kassi's house were not the same when Kassi came to dinner that day at the Burnside's house. It seems unlikely that BOTH would change clothes before dinner. (00:31:49 - 00:32:40)
Suggested correction: Apparently they did. It was probably Tyler's idea, presenting Kassi in the best possible light to assuage suspicion and maintain his image as a good Christian Boy Scout.
Continuity mistake: As Thompson and Eve are looking from their pod to the wrecked pod they plan to salvage from, the other pod is turning showing the airlock door lining up with them. It cuts back to them and then back to the other pod, and the airlock is now back where it was turning to line up once again. It's slowly turning and they take the time to speak before jumping. When they jump, the two pods are still perfectly lined up together. But in that time the air lock on the other pod should have been facing completely the wrong direction on the other side by then. Continuity mistake: When young Tiffany is eating ice cream at a restaurant, the amount of ice cream left in the clear glass bowl increases after she eats more. The ice cream in the bowl starts out being about half-full, goes down to less than one-fourth, and returns to about half-full again. (01:02:47 - 01:03:19)
Continuity mistake: During the tour in the art gallery, Kurt and Elisabeth stop to listen to the tour guide. When the camera cuts to a closer shot of Kurt, a man in a brown jacket and beige sweater vest has suddenly appeared behind Kurt that was not visible in the previous shot. (00:02:05)
Continuity mistake: When Riley's boss says he's giving her extra hours and she's closing, Riley looks down to the side in her close up. When the camera cuts again as he walks away, she's suddenly looking up straight ahead towards him as he walks. (00:08:40)
Continuity mistake: The level of water in the detective's glass fluctuates a few times from about half-empty (front views) to two-thirds full (side views). The angle of the water pitcher also changes but no-one is touching it. (01:09:28)
Continuity mistake: The middle curtain on the passenger side of the RV is pulled open to different extents (toward the sides) when Drake is snooping around. Depending on the camera's view, maybe a foot of the curtain can be seen to the right. The other views show much more of the curtain, indicating it is not pulled to the side as far (and might possibly be closed). When a larger amount of the curtain is showing, there is also a small section of a pleat partially on the sill. (00:04:00 - 00:04:27)
