The cell phone screen indicates that the time is 3:20, which is inaccurate for a mealtime because it is already dark outside and crickets are chirping when he excuses himself to go outside to get some air. Plot hole: *SPOILER* Calvin's twin sister and mother were killed years earlier in an automobile accident. Calvin kept going to his doctor with "new symptoms", insisting there was something physically wrong. Dr. Collins told Calvin, "Your health issues aren't physical. I thought sending you to that support group would give you a better perspective." The doctor should have referred Calvin to a psychiatrist for a diagnosis and, if appropriate, the psychiatrist would recommend therapy or a support group. (00:10:15)

Later on, after visiting his brother's parish, he tries to contact his 'frenemy' again but the number now is 386 909.etc. He can't have changed number in that short while (and the protagonist wouldn't know anyway).
