However, the movie ended up bringing in the lowest grosses of the entire series, and has as of July 18, 2017, only brought in just over $500 million worldwide- only half of what the previous two films earned.

Trivia: When Michael Bryce pushes a man off a bicycle into the river during the scene where Darius Kincaid is escaping by boat, the man yells a Wilhelm scream.

Trivia: Lucas told Mr. Butler that his mother died when he was very young. Assuming this is true, when his dad asked him, "Is there anything you want me to tell your mother for you?" his father was planning on committing suicide or believed Lucas was going to kill him. The night the officer brought Charlie home, there was a Christmas tree, decorations (tinsel/garland), and Christmas greeting cards hung on the wall in his house. In Australia, Christmas is celebrated in the summer because December, January, and February are summer months south of the equator. Trivia: "Before I Fall" shares some pretty interesting parallels to the movie "Happy Death Day." Both films feature a young woman who is trapped in a time loop. Both films were released in 2017. Universal Pictures handled the home-video distribution of "Before I Fall" and the theatrical distribution of "Happy Death Day." And Halston Sage and Logan Miller both co-starred in "Before I Fall," in addition to "Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse," which had the same director as "Happy Death Day."

Trivia: The film was completed and given an original intended January, 2015 release date as indicated by an early teaser-trailer. It was then pushed back more than a year to April, 2016. Due to negative test-screenings, reshoots and the sale of one of the production companies, it was repeatedly pushed about on the release schedule until it landed on a January, 2017 release - two years after its original planned release. However, just a few weeks before release, it was once again pushed back to June, 2017. And again, just a few weeks before its planned release in June, 2017, it was shelved indefinitely. It was eventually released October, 2017 as a free-to-watch title on Google Play for Android devices before a limited theatrical exhibition later in the month.

Trivia: When Gunther (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is talking about how he became the best, he says "how do you think I learned how to ram my fist into someone's stomach and to break their goddamn spine?" This is from Schwarzenegger's quote in "The Running Man." Gunther goes on to say "he's been doing this for almost 50 years. Schwarzenegger's acting career started in 1970, almost 50 years ago from the time the film was made.

Trivia: The twitter logo makes an appearance in the movie after Jail break reveals that's she is the princess.

Trivia: Quarter horses, such as "Lean on Pete", are nicknamed "the world's fastest athletes" and are considered the world's most popular horse breed. They can (or should be able to) beat other breeds in quarter-mile (finished in 23 seconds) or shorter races. Speeds of 55 mph have been clocked - but only for short distances.

Trivia: The plot of the movie is similar to Groundhog Day which is something that Carter mentions to Tree at the end of the movie. Tree's roommate's name is Laurie Spengler, which is a reference to Egon Spengler, played by Harold Ramis in Ghostbusters. Harold Ramis co-wrote and directed Groundhog Day.

Trivia: Seeing Bruce Willis all-but-naked riding a skateboard through the streets of Venice, California may or may not be amusing. While naked, he also hid a pistol between his buttocks when he had to raise his hands for the police.

Trivia: In the final scenes of the film, Noah Kross, played by Nicolas Cage, is wearing a mechanic's jacket. On the badge on his jacket is the name "Ray." Coincidentally, in his very next film called Looking Glass, Nicolas Cage plays a character named Ray. (01:21:55)
