Continuity mistake: When Lincoln is hacking down the tree, he manages to chop a big part of it, but when he gives the final blow, before the tree sort of explodes, there is not a single scratch on it.
Continuity mistake: The chronology of the date stamp used during the police camera footage is accurate, starting from 04/11/11 and ending at 08/17/11. However, officer Taylor fills out his paperwork after a bust dated 8/19/12.
Continuity mistake: After the old man in the pet shop blows his own brains out, Frank and Hakan are talking in a car. Frank visibly does not have his seat belt on. Hakan gets out of the car and the shot cuts back to Frank as he starts to drive off, with his seatbelt suddenly on. (00:51:50)
Continuity mistake: Ewan and Mark are seen drawing their guns outside of Paul's house with silencers on. As they enter the house, the silencers are off. Once Ewan is upstairs, and Mark goes outside to look for Paul, they are back on the guns.
Continuity mistake: When Viktor captures Raffa, he puts a zip tie on his wrists. The excess zip tie parts hang off to Raffa's left. But as Viktor is putting him in the car, the excess is on Raffa's right. (00:45:25)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, the motorcycle drives by a car that parks under a bridge and tosses out a bag. The bag rolls to a stop and has the straps on the same side as the car. The camera cuts to a frontal view of the car as the driver gets out and suddenly the straps are on the opposite side. (00:02:25)
Continuity mistake: At the battle of the bands Ryan's car is smashed by Tyler and his friends, specifically the windscreen and headlights. When Elissa drives the car minute later, it is in perfect condition. It's also in perfect condition when Ryan later reverses it into the garage.
Continuity mistake: When Joey is on one knee removing the panel outside the vault room his underwear can be seen showing above his jeans, and it appears to be black. However, shortly afterwards when he is urgently packing away his equipment, his underwear is light green with a white waist. When he drops back down from the air vent his underwear once again shows as being black.
Continuity mistake: When Poe is talking to the news paper editor, the ink pen on the book changes form there to not there, then to two pens then gone again. It at first looked like a yellow pencil which caught my eye, that is where I caught these mistakes.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Frank Harper is seen getting in to a dark blue 1997 R reg Jaguar driven by Craig Fairbrass. After driving for a bit and a conversation they exit the vehicle and set light to the car. As it starts to burn and they walk away, you can see that the car is now a dark green 1996 N reg Jaguar.
Continuity mistake: Tom opens his right hand to reveal a coin. The next moment he throws the coin, but with his left hand.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Will is wounded and riding on the back of a moped with Lucia, Jean steps out of her vehicle to try and shoot Will. At this time, she is wearing her black sunglasses as she points a pistol at Will. A Spanish cop steps in the way, and she can't take the shot. Her glasses are still on. In the next shot with her, she is watching them ride away and she looks disappointed, sunglasses still on. Shot cuts to Will and Lucia escaping, and then back to Jean. Jean is still in the same position with same look on her face, but suddenly she is not wearing her sunglasses. She shakes her head and says "Lucky" while putting on her sunglasses now, as if for the first time. (00:48:35)
Continuity mistake: When Maria and Lucas hear a boy crying out, Lucas rushes ahead, leaving Maria, who is badly injured in her right leg, to lag behind. But when Lucas reaches the boy, Maria is right beside them.
Continuity mistake: When Emily is standing in front of the swing, in a back view of her, her legs are close together, in her front view her legs are farther away.
Continuity mistake: His best selling novel changes in quantity on the shelf in his office. After he signs a copy for the officer they increase in number, and lean one way then the other.
Continuity mistake: When Snow is talking to the Henry Shaw in the interrogation room, he is given a cigarette and lighter. Snow lights the cig, and then lowers both arms onto the table as he puffs. The next shot cuts to Langral's perspective looking through the window. Now Snow's right arm is up holding the cigarette. (00:08:05)
Continuity mistake: When Wilee phones Manny early on in the movie, Wilee unlocks the chain to his bike and the bike and chain fall to the floor. Wilee then picks up the chain and doesn't pick up the bike. But by the time he finishes the call with Manny, the bike is now back to being laid against the tree, when it was on the ground moments earlier. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: The alarm clock chimes; Juno Temple reaches up with her left hand, putting it on the upper part of the pillow. Michael Angarano crawls over her to turn the alarm off, but she's napping with her hand by her chin, on the bottom corner of the pillow. (00:02:40)
Continuity mistake: When the dog comes in and takes Dale's hand the blonde woman's legs keep changing position. (00:47:00)
Continuity mistake: Throughout the film, John Travolta's hair changes back and forth and back and forth from being really really really short to just really short.
