Continuity mistake: The German and British airmen are looking at the Northern lights. From the rear the men are apart, but the front shots of them show them much closer to each other.
Continuity mistake: When Luke grabs a beer from the mini bar in the hotel, there's a lot of beer foam in the top of the bottle. In the next shot, when Luke's sitting on the bed, the foam is gone without taking a first sip.
Continuity mistake: After Mike has set the tent up they go for a ride on their snowmobile to check the scenery out. They come uphill parking the snowmobile facing upwards. They get up looking at the scenery, and a few shots later the snowmobile has suddenly turned 180 degrees facing downhill. (00:13:40)
Continuity mistake: Hydell (the crazy brother) locks The Warden in the airlock. He begins to write "BI BI" in the condensation on the glass. The positioning of the letter 'I' in the first "BI" changes as the camera switches inside the airlock. It is now touching the first letter 'B'. Also the second letter 'B' is now much neater. Continuity mistake: During the scene where Daniella and Clay are enjoying a glass of wine together and she is revealing how much she knows about him, Daniella's left hand/arm positions change continually throughout the shots, from on the chair arm to playing with her hair/alongside her face.
Continuity mistake: When the form falls onto the girl's face, the position of the form changes between shots. (00:00:35)
Continuity mistake: When the boy is shoveling all of the snow, he leaves foot prints from when he walked out the door. But in the shot just before he notices most of the snow has gone, all the foot prints have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When the mean Santa puts the little girl in his lap and asks her what she wants, she's wearing gloves. When it cuts to a different angle, suddenly her gloves are gone.
Continuity mistake: The first time they go to the beach together, Alain is sleeping while Stephanie is swimming. When she wakes him up with her potent whistling, he has his hand on his belly that touches the bathing shorts'upper band in the first shot, but the hand is in a different position above his bellybutton in the wider angle. Continuity mistake: Tom walks into Anthony's memory. Anthony is sitting by the pool next to a table with two glasses of beer, which are 1/3rd empty. A few minutes later the memory is replayed, but this time both beer glasses are mostly full. (00:49:50 - 00:58:35)
Continuity mistake: The alarm clock chimes; Juno Temple reaches up with her left hand, putting it on the upper part of the pillow. Michael Angarano crawls over her to turn the alarm off, but she's napping with her hand by her chin, on the bottom corner of the pillow. (00:02:40)
Continuity mistake: In the intro, the mother is playing with her kid; notice that when she grabs the gladiator puppet she is holding it with the index finger above the shoulder in the wider angle, below in the frontal close-up. (00:01:00)
Continuity mistake: After Ray jumps off the boat to remove the chain from its tether, in the following wide shot, the chain is nowhere to be seen.
Continuity mistake: Dinner at Forestier's home, and Georges Duroy does not know which knife to use to eat. The asparagi in his plate are across the small pie in the wide shot, and in close-up they are arranged entirely on the side without his intervention. (00:08:20)
Continuity mistake: Wren is looking for a Halloween costume. She is briefly thinking about Aaron and his Johnny Depp cosplay; meanwhile her brother moves from a Spider-Man rack to severed arms across the aisle. During this transition, the people on the background change position, and when she talks to him the girl in orange is behind her with her hands on the display one shot too soon. In the following shot she is still walking. (00:07:55)
Continuity mistake: George's son is disappointed because his dad missed the ball game and tells him that he should have been there. Meanwhile Denise Richards approaches the cooking pot with her spoon in her right hand and the plate in her left. Close-up on her telling Howie that dad was busy, and spoon and plate switched hands. Continuity mistake: The man with one arm in the projector slides shows his right arm removed below the elbow. The next slide shows his left arm missing, and then it goes back to his right. (00:35:34)
Continuity mistake: At the "written by" screen with Al Pacino and Christopher Walken meeting, the shadows of the building run perfectly parallel to the fence and through the whole length as far as it can be seen. The two exchange 30 seconds of dialogue and an awkward hug, and drive off. The shadows have changed entirely; they start about halfway at the gate, with an oblique angle. (00:04:05)
