Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie, Arthur is pulled over in his Batmobile by two police officers. A female in the next scene checks her phone and sees a picture of Arthur getting out of the car, however, there was nobody at the initial scene with a camera who could have taken the photo.
Corrected entry: At the start of the scene where Blu is picked up by Linda, a small bird is shown standing in front of a red traffic light, with the truck containing Blu travelling towards the bird's side. But when the driver brakes, the red light is now towards the truck, with no transition to that side.
Correction: I thought the same thing at first but re-watching it, you can see the bird switch red lights like it did in the establishing shot.
Corrected entry: Rango, a chameleon, crouches in the desert sand and changes color in the hope of being unseen by a hawk flying overhead. His red shirt inexplicably changes color as well.
Correction: A chameleon talks, rides other animals, drinks, belches fire and wears clothes, and the problem you have with it is the shirt changes color? Really? It's a cartoon, leave your disbelief at the theater door.
Corrected entry: When the older daughter came out of her mother's hospital room after saying "goodbye," she hugged her dad and her little sister and then walked her little sister back in to say HER goodbyes. They did not return to the same room, but one farther back.
Correction: I could see why someone would think they didn't return to the same room, but they did. The door closed behind the oldest daughter as she exited the room causing her to have to reopen it as she and her sister walked back in. Watching the pictures hanging up on the wall will also assist you in confirming that the room was not changed.
Corrected entry: When Owen Wilson is outside the coffee shop with an iced tea and is drinking it from a straw, he sets it down and the straw goes away. Then he picks it up and the straw appears again.
Correction: The straw is there the entire scene, it's just difficult to see because it's a clear straw.
Corrected entry: Towards the end, when Ally is searching for Colin wedding by wedding, her pink bridesmaid's dress goes from having a ruffled, over-the-shoulder overlay to plain and strapless across the chest.
Correction: She rips the shoulder part off in the scene after it keeps flying up in front of her face while riding the bike down the freeway.
Corrected entry: In the movie, Randy mentions the movie Casper. Paranormal Activity 3 was based in 1988; the movie Casper wasn't released until 1995.
Correction: Nonsense. He references Casper the Friendly Ghost, a cartoon character created on the 1930's who starred in a number of cartoon shorts in the '40s and '50s. The cartoons were aired on morning and afternoon television throughout the '70s and '80s, so it would be something Randy is familiar with.
Corrected entry: Mr. Shaw refers to Josh as "Ben" towards the beginning of the film. "What would I do without you, Ben"? (00:03:50)
Correction: This is not accurate. I have watched this scene numerous times and there is no mistake.
Corrected entry: The bagpiper in the Battle of the Somme used a plastic bagpipe chanter that had not been invented yet.
Correction: Whether the chanter is actually plastic or not, it is indistinguishable in appearance to a black wood chanter, and is therefore in itself an acceptable prop. More pertinent as a mistake is that it has a modern profile. The chanter lacks a "sole" - a round disk at the end of the chanter - a part expected of a World War I era bagpipe. As a side note: While it is plausible, it is nevertheless somewhat unlikely that a West Country English regiment would be piped over the top by a Highland piper.
Corrected entry: After Bethany gets bitten by the shark and she is taken to the beach, they roll her over onto the other surfboard. When the brother comes back from calling 911, he and and the father get ready to lift the board on the count of 3. If you look carefully and closely, you can see AnnaSophia reposition herself on the board. She lifts her butt a little and moves further onto the board.
Correction: Bethany is not paralyzed, so there is no reason she couldn't reposition herself on the surfboard by lifting her butt up to move over a little bit.
Corrected entry: There is no possible way an American could know how to operate a Russian lander off the top of his head. He would also be unable to read any of the gauges or meters due to the fact that they are in Russian.
Correction: One of them said that their systems aren't that different from ours. And since he was trapped there for some time until receiving help from Freedom, he must've familiarized himself with the layout of the spacecraft in the meantime.
Corrected entry: The door near Mitch at his movie set reads 69, when he exits the next shot it reads 32.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Jesse is waiting in Commander Healy's office and is pouring coffee, Jesse fills a cup with coffee as Healy enters, and that cup is taken by Healy. Jesse then fills a second cup as Healy walks to his desk and Jesse goes toward the window. Camera angle changes and Healy walks from his desk to the coffee pot to fill his cup, which was already full.
Correction: Commander Healy does not refill his coffee cup, but goes back to the counter where the coffee pot is and pours creamer in the coffee.
Corrected entry: The phone handsets in every shot are Cisco 7940 which are VoIP handsets. This technology was not available in 2002.
Correction: This entry is incorrect. VoIP was actually introduced in 1995. In 1996 it became the new choice for commercial use of telephones. The Cisco 7940 was actually released in February of 2002. You can actually check the first update to the firmware which occurred in May 2002.
Corrected entry: In the second-to-last game of the season, Xavier Laflamme gets a five minute major penalty, and goes to the penalty box. In real life, Laflamme would have been ejected from the game and another player would serve the penalty for him.
Correction: A five minute major penalty in hockey doesn't mean a player is ejected from the game.
Corrected entry: In a scene in the last 10 minutes of the movie, the younger sister is coming home from the hospital. She is helped out of a van, into a wheelchair by a few women. When she is pushed up the ramp, a long white cast is on her left leg, in the next scene she is inside the house, in the living room, still in the wheelchair and the cast is now on the right leg. Then in the next scene, she is wheeling herself across the street to her artist friend's house and the cast is back on the left leg again.
Correction: During the "switch" the scene is shown though a mirror (look for the frame), thus the leg cast looks like it's on the opposite leg. The cast is always on the right leg.
Corrected entry: When Charlie's mother is in the hospital, Charlie puts up crosses all over the walls and windows, supposedly to keep Jerry away. However, this was after the scene where Charlie held up a cross to Jerry on the roadway and Jerry grabbed the cross and it caught fire. So, Charlie would have known that the crosses had no detrimental effect on Jerry.
Correction: They do have an effect on Jerry; he showed signs of physical pain when he touched the crucifix, and it only burst into flame because he was touching it. Also, that was only one crucifix, so it's likely that he would not be able to pass through tens of them.
Corrected entry: SPOILER: In the flashback of Scanlon killing Britt's father, it is nighttime when he kills him. But Britt's father died the same day as when Britt woke up with the hot girl after the party. When Britt sees the news report about his father's death, it's daytime the same day. There was no time for Scanlon to wait till nighttime to kill him.
Correction: The flashback was shot in black and white with an angle from the top. With ample light in the scene there is not enough clues to imply that he killed his father at night. Your confusion is understandable.
You must have watched a different movie. The scene wasn't shot in black and white or from an angle from the top. The car in the background at James Reid's house has its lights on to indicate it's night.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Jennifer Aniston first meets Brooklyn Decker in the hotel bar with Adam Sandler, Aniston orders a drink from the server and flirts with him. The conversations continue, and towards the end of the scene her drink appears on the table without the server ever returning to bring it to her.
Correction: When Sandler is talking about the pills Aniston takes, you see the waiter bringing the glass, and actually you see him leave the table at the left side.
Corrected entry: Graeme and Clive are both British, yet Graeme uses the American pronunciation of the word "router" even though he used the British pronunciation of the word "schedule" only moments before.
Correction: Just because he is British doesn't mean he talks exactly like most Brits all the time with ever word. He's a nerd/geek, and came to America with his buddy for Comic Con even. It's not at all inconceivable that through watching TV or hanging out with other Americans from time to time he picked up on some of the American speech patterns. Remember the actor, Simon Pegg is in fact British, so it's likely the way he really talks. The pronunciation was natural.
Correction: The picture shows Arthur getting out of a police car. It's not from the scene with the Batmobile.
