Continuity mistake: When Abby slaughters the bullies, we see most of the scene from Owen's underwater point of view. First, a decapitated head floats down, leaving a trail of blood. Then, more dismembered bodies splash into the water. We get the sense that the pool water around Owen should be pretty bloody. Yet, when he surfaces, the water around him is completely clear, with no evidence of any blood or bodies.
Continuity mistake: In the final battle scene after the Band reaches the canyons and are on a cliff overlooking the Guardians, you can obviously see that Twilight doesn't have his lute. After focusing on Soren struggling to remove the pot of tar, we see Twilight flying with Digger and Gylfie, but with his lute. Impossible to be so fast. (01:11:55)
Continuity mistake: In the first scene with Lucas in the race car, a curly also wants to get in it, but he is smashed to the ground by the driver who puts a brake. First we saw a lot of blood dropped from his head (on the starting grid), and in the next scene, shot with another camera, the blood disappears.
Continuity mistake: When Becky is having lunch in the park with her workmates, they all turn to look at Adam and the blonde workmate is holding her drink in the air. In the next shot, however, the drink is flat on the table, with no time to change.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Cindy is about to have her abortion, we see a shot of the nurse holding her hand and the nurse has on purple latex gloves. In the next shot, the nurse is holding her hand without gloves.
Continuity mistake: When Marie dinners with Didier for the last time, the girl behind has either her hands on the table or grabbing the menu, depending on the angle.
Continuity mistake: When they jump on the train at the end of the film, the train tail light is on the right hand side and its also a light that didn't come in until the 80's and in the long shot of the train speeding along the tail light is on the left hand side.
Continuity mistake: When Brown is talking to Michies Mother about the Final jam, Brown goes round to his desk. If you look at the computer when he does this, it is pointing slightly to the left. Then he goes round to the front of the desk and the computer is pointing to the right before anyone has the chance to move it.
Continuity mistake: First when Carson kisses Rachel she's on his left side. When the kiss is over she's suddenly on his right side. (00:52:00)
Continuity mistake: When the security guard opens the back of his vehicle the gun is pointing to the left, but when the shot changes as the security guard reaches in for the hat, the gun is pointing to the right. Then as he turns to put the hat on Tyler, the gun is again pointing to the left.
Continuity mistake: When Ellie & Fiona are breaking into the garage to steal the gas tanker truck, Fiona's hands are by her side. The camera angle changes, and her right hand is up, holding her rifle strap.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie, after Boyka gets out of the car with the briefcase, Turbo gets out after him and has a conversation. When Turbo goes back to the car, you see Boyka standing on the side of the road. There is only that one road in all the shots. In the next close up shot of the car door closing, and the car moving, we see the car getting out on to the road from a small by-lane (of sorts)! Where did this road come from? How did the car move places?
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, when Ray makes a call to channel one news, he is seen to press the dial button, but when he looks to see a fleet of super hybrids, his phone is displaying a picture rather than placing a call.
Continuity mistake: Near the end, the orderly restrains Kristen and the doctor says not to drug them. The doctor is holding Kristen by the arms. However in the close up of her getting the injection her arms are free, only to be restrained again in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when Billy is talking to the bum (who later turns out to be Tawny), the bum has a glove on his right hand. When he reaches his right hand out to Billy and Billy gives him a subway token, there is no glove. It's back in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: The little Nono is singing the nursery rhyme in front of the cafè. One of the nazis tosses him a coin, while the other puts the cigarette down, but at the cut he's already taking a puff.
Continuity mistake: The fan on the duty desk stops and starts randomly between camera shots. (00:54:10)
Continuity mistake: In the classroom, Jarod leaves with Detective Fairchild's business card in his right hand and accidentally (maybe deliberately) left the "Death and Cremation" book on the floor. Courtney picks up Jarod's book, apparently with the intent to give it to him the next time she saw him. Later, Courtney is reading the book and finds Detective Fairchild's business card between pages (like a bookmark). If this was meant to be the one the detective gave to Jarod, it can't be. Continuity mistake: When Charlie is coaching Sam in baseball at the beginning of the movie, they get on the road and he beckons to him. In the first cut, people in the background change (most obviously, a guy is crossing the street behind him, but vanishes in the second shot). (00:07:45)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the film, Johnny is shown driving onto the freeway northbound from Hollywood, then shows him in Calabasas, and then Thousand Oaks. That route takes him in a westbound direction, however, the section of freeway he's on in Calabasas is going eastbound (not westbound like he should be). Next, in Thousand Oaks, he's properly going westbound again.
