Corrected entry: When Sam gets stabbed at the beginning of the film he gets stabbed in his left arm. But when he eventually gets home and looks in the mirror the blood stain and wound is on his right arm.
Corrected entry: The underground train, at the end, has sliding doors. Sliding automatic doors weren't invented until 1954.
Correction: 1938-built Underground trains (and 1923-built trains before them) had automatic sliding doors: it's wrong to claim they were invented in 1954. It appears that the train used in the movie is a 1938 type.
Corrected entry: When explaining about the car, 'Coach' points at the twin guns on the cars hood saying "and twin 30mm, belt-fed machine guns for offense". Looking at the guns one can easily say that those are not 30mm guns. Such guns are mounted on anti-tank aircraft and measure few meters in length, plus of course have much wider barrels. the guns on the car are at best 30 caliber ones, which is 7.62mm.
Corrected entry: Throughout the film several students are seen handling iPhones in ways which iPhones simply do not work. When Tyler walks down the halls of his Orlando high school for the first time, a girl is seen watching a YouTube video of him holding her iPhone in portrait mode (iPhones and iPod touches only view videos in landscape). Later, several students are seen video recording the fighting matches, a feature which iPhone does not have.
Correction: You can Jailbreak an iPhone and take videos. Also, the landscape\portrait "mistake" was probably a video from some site other than YouTube.
Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie when Kumar is on the toilet you can see his gray underwear, which should have been pulled down when using the toilet.
Correction: Actually, the gray is part of his shirt, or an undershirt. You can see his white boxers were pulled down with his pants.
Corrected entry: When Max is 'captured' by Sigfreid and they are watching Agent 99 on the video feed, Max says something like, "Mrs. Spalkis must be lost," as well as making several other obvious references to the fact that he has been caught. Agent 99 can hear every word he says, and yet she doesn't even react to Max's suspicious quotes until he says, "99, we've been compromised."
Correction: What's the problem?, 99 simply don't understand Max. It's a character mistake.
Corrected entry: When Denton goes to buy the Pineapple Express, he agrees to pay ten bucks more for it for a quarter, but ends up buying only a dimebag.
Correction: He buys a quarter. He even says he'll take a quarter.
Corrected entry: Daisy's daughter didn't know her mother was a ballerina, even though she obviously grew up in Daisy's ballet school. We saw her in the ballet school as a teenager when she met Benjamin, her real father.
Correction: She actually said her mother never told her about "those photos", showing her as a world-class ballerina she was. She knew her mother was a ballerina, but didn't know how good and how famous she was.
Corrected entry: At one point in the jungle one of the men calls Jeff Portnoy by his real name "Jack", instead of the character's name "Jeff".
Correction: Please be more specific. I have watched this movie several times and cannot spot this mistake.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Mitchie and Kaitlyn are blowing up balloons for Connie, one shot shows Mitchie without a balloon. In the next shot, she hits Kaitlyn with a green balloon.
Correction: If you watch closely they are surrounded by balloons both blown up and not, she could have easily picked one up.
Corrected entry: The characters are shown entering a large desert. When they stop at the cave, they light a fire with wood. The desert hasn't got any vegetation at all.
Correction: Sorry, that's just wrong. Deserts have an amazing range of vegetation and wildlife. People in the Middle East have been surviving for millennia as nomads in the desert, and they do burn wood in addition to camel dung.
Corrected entry: When Joy is preparing to pop the champagne for her boss she grabs the bottle and slides the knife on the bottle. The metal cage on the cork of the bottle is intact; however when she pops the bottle, the metal cage is removed.
Correction: When she is handed the bottle by jack you can see her removing the metal at 1:08:18.
Corrected entry: In the scene where R2D2, Anakin and his apprentice are walking in the desert of Tatooine, you see them walking from their ship and footprints begin. Then you see them in the next scene in the middle of the desert and you follow the footprints, and they just start a bit behind although they have been walking from their ship for a long time.
Correction: The wind has blown sand over their tracks.
Corrected entry: In the show 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?' contestants are given safety stages. E.g. if they get the £64k question wrong they go home with £32k. In this film, Jamal is warned by the host that if he gets the final question wrong he loses everything
Correction: Different countries may have different rules. Most game shows in the past had no safety nets, perhaps the rules are similar here.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Admiral Enolo Phid impersonates the Sky Marshall for the live broadcast she uses a system where her movements are captured in real-time and the 'Sky Marshall' avatar mimics the actions on the screen. When she says 'And betrayal.' Admiral Phid raises her left hand but the Sky Marshall mimics the action with his right hand. This happens again when she says 'I assure you.' (A raises right hand, SM raises left) When they say 'It will end in total Victory' the Admiral crosses her arms left over right, the Sky Marshall crosses them right over left. (00:34:00 - 00:35:30)
Correction: Because it is mirroring her not copying.
Corrected entry: When the train stops and they are in some diner, the woman is showing video on her iPod. In the first scene she wears a red shirt, but after watching video on iPod, she is wearing a blue shirt.
Correction: The woman is wearing a blue shirt on top of a red shirt, and both are visible during the scenes.
Corrected entry: In the train ride scene, a little girl is suddenly sitting on sister Rebekah's lap sleeping, and then when they get off the train she is gone. It is never explained who the little girl is, where she came from or where she went.
Correction: She's just a random, nameless passenger on the train. She was tired, had no place to sit, and Sister Rebekah is a very kind person who allowed the child to sleep on her lap. Nothing more to it.
Corrected entry: When Ham, Luna, and Titan are on the treadmills Ham throws a banana at Titan and he trips over it, but when it shows Titan's treadmill the banana peel is gone. There's nowhere for it to go because there is no gap between the treadmill and the wall, and if there was there would be a smear on the treadmill, and there is no mark on his shoe.
Correction: Look behind Ham's treadmill. Part of the peel is visible.
Corrected entry: (Spoilers.) On the ship, Samir pretends to feel ill and is being escorted by the terrorist group's head of security. Samir asks him how many men he has protecting the group's leader, and the security guy replies with a number (can't remember how many). Yet when Samir returns to gun down the terrorist leader, absolutely no security people show up.
Correction: Two things, first Samir is a trusted member of the cell, and is already past the security, in fact is probably counted as part of the security. Second, the RCMP had already boarded the ship, and would have detained the security members they encountered.
Corrected entry: When Brendan Fraser gets stabbed by the Emperor's dagger/sword, the outbound wound is at his belly height. When his son checks his back, the inbound wound is between the shoulder blades, although the weapon came in straight. Had the blade entered from such a high angle, the damage would have been unsurvivable by means of puncturing heart and/or lungs.
Correction: The sword did come from high in his back, down and out through his stomach. The wounds are consistent with the angle of the sword stab. The whole point of going to Shangri-la was to save Rick's life, which the magical water in the pool did. He wasn't breathing when he got there, so he very well may have died on the way up.
Correction: That is a mirror shot.
