Other mistake: Towards the end of the film, as the two kids are escaping through the subway being guided through the night vision scope used by the army major, they are virtually blind and have to pick their way through dead bodies, escalators etc. This seems a bit unnecessary as the M4 rifle to which the night vision scope is attached also has a torch attached to the RIS rail. Military spec torches are extremely bright - why not just turn it on? They can't be worried about being spotted, because they are shouting at each other, not concerned with what might spot them.

Other mistake: When Katie tells Micah to look at their picture after the demon has broken the glass, you can plainly see the girl in the picture is not Katie.
Suggested correction: Yes, it is. She looks a little different in the picture, but it just comes down to the camera angle (it's a high angle) and the weird lighting in the photo (she's in shadow). I also checked out a high-resolution still of the photo in the movie and compared it to a photo of the actress, and they share every minor subtle feature right down to the shape of her teeth. Micah also looks slightly different in the photo too, but it's the same actor. Also, I have to ask what purpose would there be to having a photo with a completely different actress when they could just take one with the actress from the movie?

Other mistake: During the film the narrator states: "He also had a condition that was referred to as "granulated eyelids" and it caused him to blink more than usual as if he found creation slightly more than he could accept." However, this never occurs once in the movie and in fact the opposite happens, Jesse stares into space hardly blinking throughout the entire film.

Other mistake: The window in which Ben climbs in at Reverend Frank's house seems too narrow when viewed from the outside. But in the next shot inside the house, the window is wider.

Other mistake: Chris' leg cast was thigh-high. When he got out of bed (and used crutches), his cast was OVER his pants. His pants' leg did not appear to be cut off - it was securely under the cast and never changed despite all the fighting/activity he engaged in. (00:36:22)

Other mistake: When Chuck is driving Cam to get her spare set of keys you can see it is dark out and the car has its headlights on, but the taillights are out. (00:25:50)

Other mistake: It is said Jamie has no alibi in the beginning scenes of the movie, and the detective immediately drills into him as if he committed the murder. Yet Jamie did have an alibi, he was out getting Chinese food and had it been checked out with the restaurant. No reason for Jamie to prove his innocence. (00:10:00)

Other mistake: The Italian version redubs the antagonist as "Thomas" and "Tom," localizing the movie title to "The Thomas Crawford Affair," in an obvious attempt to capitalize on the fame of the cinema classic "The Thomas Crown Affair." However, end credits (and obviously the police report) still list Hopkins' character as Ted Crawford.

Other mistake: When Mike rams up the backside of the challenger, the girl driving the car loses control and turns hard towards the left, the front tires aren't pointing forward down the road so there was no way she would have recovered from this. In the following shot after her closeup she's driving straight. (01:33:40)

Other mistake: Whenever the fire scene is going in slow motion, the fire in the background is not in slow motion. (01:07:00)

Other mistake: After falling in the pit of water at the end, there is at least one shot (if not more), only a minute or so later (when Turner is stabbed in the leg by Julie), where Kale's shirt appears to be completely dry, when it should be still quite drenched.

Other mistake: Near the end of the film, when Jack Doyle is being arrested, the Mass. State Police troopers' badges and shoulder patches are not what is actually worn by this police department, although the remainder of the uniform appears to be accurate.

Other mistake: In a scene when Deborah Martin takes a photo in the mirror the camera's position would'nt allow for the photo to be taken properly, as it does later on in the film.

Other mistake: When Wray goes to save Cherry from the hospital, he puts on latex gloves to stab the infected. But after he gets Cherry, he stabs a zombie with his bare hands. (00:51:15 - 00:53:25)

Other mistake: The effects of a stroke are unilateral, and the movie shows his right eye affected, but the facial droop is shown on the left side. This wouldn't happen. The droop would be on the same side as the eye.

Other mistake: At the beginning of the movie, a sniper is preparing to assassinate the Chinese Ambassador, who he has in the cross-hairs of his rifle. After the shot is fired, we see the sniper rappelling down the side of the building, which is at least 17-18 stories tall. When Jackie Chan jumps out of the building across the street, we see that he and the ambassador were on the bottom floor, far back from the window. There is no way the sniper, from that angle, would be able to see his target in his sights.

Other mistake: Mr Brooks hands over the keys to Mr. Smith after closing the cemetery gate behind them, but never retrieves them back after killing him and pushing the body down the grave.

Other mistake: When the Principal's son is yelling at his dad to help him with "Jack o'lantern, especially the eyes," he hadn't even killed Billy yet. So how did he need help with a "Jack o'lantern" that had yet to be provided? He was still struggling with him in the backyard.

Other mistake: When Rod kisses Denise at the bus jump, Kevin is filming it, but it's apparent that the camcorder isn't switched on because the LCD is not lit up, it is just a black screen. (01:10:25)

Other mistake: On Evan's missing poster that Wizard finds in the park, it states his age as 12, but that he's been missing since Feb 2006. Given that his date of birth is December 1995, this would make him only just 10 years old. (00:53:28)
