Continuity mistake: At the end, during the fighting in the Cathedral, the last woman left is getting first cut by Steven Seagal at the right breast. A moment later, her cut is on her left side. The next moment it is on the right side again.
Continuity mistake: Just before Amanda shoots Lynn her gun switches from her right hand to her left.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ashley says that they've got CDs in the tanning salon you can see Ashlyn keeping a cream tube on the table with her right hand. In the next shot you see her continuing the same action with the left hand.
Continuity mistake: As Brenda leaves the table asking "Does anyone need anything?", we see Bobby sitting by the table. When it cuts Bobby suddenly got something between his lips which weren't there before.
Continuity mistake: After Marcus kills Kraven, we cut back to Selene and Michael. As he talks about her saving his life and that how everything has changed, part of Selene's fringe switches from hanging in front of her face to tucked to the side between shots. In the closeup shots it hangs in front of her face and in the wide shots it is tucked to the side.
Continuity mistake: When Chris pulls up at the bridge barricade, he gets out and his collar is down. In the very next shot his Burberry collar is sticking right up.
Continuity mistake: When the girls are told to stop reading their Goosebumps books, and go to bed, they put them down on the bedside table. In the next shot through the window, Jenna is seen putting her book down again.
Continuity mistake: When Jake is told to take his soccer equipment and put it in his room, he takes it and sits on his bed, and shoves all the gear underneath his bed. In the next shot when Trish enters the room, half of the equipment is back out on the floor again.
Continuity mistake: Right after Phin gets run over by the carriage, when the cops are talking to Hutch and Zwink, the laptop in the van moves between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie-Anne Moss leaves the house to bring drinks to her son and Fido, she closes the red front door behind her. When we cut to Fido's POV of her approaching, the door is wide open.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Robert Thorn arrives at the US embassy after the nanny's suicide, he gets out of the car and points at the Saudi ambassador, who can be seen in the next few shots right behind him. But in the crane-shot when Robert Thorn walks up the staircase, the Saudi ambassador and his entourage can not be seen until the last moment of the shot, when the ambassador bobs his head on the left edge of the screen.
Continuity mistake: When the mine blows up and starts a rockslide, one of the rocks lands on the windshield and smashes it. Yet later, when the group stops in town to watch the sunrise, the windshield has magically repaired itself.
Continuity mistake: When Dean, his brother Eric and Bailey are taken back to the house. Dean and Eric are taken away and tied up. As Sheriff Hoyt is threatening them we see Eric's face has blood on it. As the scene keeps going, the blood on Eric's face keeps disappearing and reappearing each time we see him.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the guy and the girl are making out on the bed, they trigger a bell to ring in Kane's lair. The bell shown ringing is a large bell on the far left top row of two rows of bells. When he walks into the room to see which bell is ringing, the bell ringing is a small bell in the middle of the bottom row and the large bell isn't moving at all. Later in the movie, that same large bell is triggered when the kids are walking down the hall and hit a trip wire, and it makes a completely different sound than the first time.
Continuity mistake: When Cole and his sister are in the cemetery there is a gardener trimming a bush. Yet there are no clippings on the ground.
Continuity mistake: When we see the first instant messaging conversation between Stone, Izzy, and Tim, Tim's screen name is "Tim86". However, when Tim starts talking to Stone, it has changed to "Tim79."
Continuity mistake: After they ditch Burns in the woods, they plan to go through a small graveyard. As the captain starts briefing the squad we see him taking the cigar out of his mouth. When it cuts the cigar is back in his mouth. (00:21:40)
Continuity mistake: In the woods on the island, when Edward first meets Sister Willow, he is about to close his sports coat, and in the next shot of him, the sports coat is buttoned up. After a quick shot of Sister Willow, in the next shot of Edward, his coat is entirely unbuttoned and open again.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, two people are dragging a coffin through the desert. After first seeing only their boots, when we see the two guys, the one wearing a white shirt is on the left, and the one with a red shirt on the right. But in the very next shot their positions have changed, now the man with the white shirt is on the left while the one with the red shirt is on the right.
Continuity mistake: After Hellboy defeats the semi-vampiric heads, the Professor is seen destroying a small statue on his scroll representing them. Despite being destroyed, this statue reappears later in the movie.
