Continuity mistake: Denning and Grim get tied up and hung in front of the screen at the drive in movie. That night, their arms are free and flailing, but the next morning, their arms are tied down.
Continuity mistake: The first time Otis is in the barn at night he carries a glass of milk in his hand. However, when Daisy sees him, the glass of milk disappears from his hand.
Continuity mistake: In the first 'Ice Age' Diego isn't afraid of water (in the beginning he chases the woman and the baby through the river before she jumps off the waterfall and never shows any fear) but in this one he suddenly is. It's not like that he is just afraid of swimming because in the second movie he shows fear anytime when he touches water.
Continuity mistake: In the end, all the pictures in the cousin's book are normal, but earlier Leroy tore Xs in each.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning scene, when Billy and Woody are on their way to the new house, Woody is seen eating a bean burrito. There is glob of beans on his hand that disappears in the next shot, but appears again in the following shot.
Continuity mistake: When Mumble is still a baby, his "bowtie" does not appear until Boss Skua has him pinned down under his foot. Then shortly after, it disappears again, only to reappear when Mumble falls into the crack in the ice.
Continuity mistake: When they are auditioning for the team, they stamp the fat kid's file "approved" under his photo parallel to the bottom edge. The camera cuts away and back to show the stamp at an angle with part of it on the photo itself. (00:13:40)
Continuity mistake: When the Officer David Delinko and The Captain are having some lunch in the seafood restaurant, the cups on the table move about between shots during the scene.
Continuity mistake: Before Lightning falls off the end of Mack's trailer, you can see Snot Rod and one of the other cars running alongside the trailer. But when the camera moves to show Lightning coming off the trailer, you can see alongside the trailer in the background, and the cars are now missing. Camera switches back to the front of Mack, and the cars are back alongside again.
Suggested correction: Actually, they are still there. They're just out of view.
Continuity mistake: When Hornet is pretending that Victor is trying to kidnap her, she lets go of his jacket to get away. In the following shot, she is seen letting go of his jacket again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mya is at the popular girl's party, when she begins to dance near the pool and everyone slowly joins in, the guy behind her gains a silver necklace after eveyrone stops dancing. It then disappears in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: When Tanzie and Ava are going to the woman's house to ask her about her skin condition, as Tanzie gets out of the car, her bag is already over her shoulder. In the next shot, she's pulling it over her shoulder again after holding it in her hand.
Continuity mistake: At the amphitheater, just as Boog chases Elliott through the curtain and off the stage, the dark colored paint that was splashed across the back of the curtain only moments before is not visible when Boog and Elliott pull the curtain down upon themselves and neither of them have any trace of paint on them after they roll free of the paint-splattered curtain.
Continuity mistake: In the first dining room scene, 7 of the princesses don't have collars in one shot.
Continuity mistake: Arthur had only 36 hours to spend in the Minimoy world, and he leaves at midnight. He spends a full 24 hours too long as a Minimoy. After he finds the Minimoy Princess they travel during the day. They spend the first night sleeping in a flower (24 hour mark); the second night he is wandering under the house, the grandma is sleeping in a chair above him (48 hour mark). He then returns at noon. That's 60 hours.
Continuity mistake: When Ted is using the kite to steer the balloons, he is holding the string in his hand. When George's balloons pop, Ted catches George, and both of Ted's hands are seen to remain empty for at least 15 seconds, no kite or string is seen at all. Then it immediately cuts to a wide shot after George climbs onto Ted's back, and Ted is suddenly holding the kite string, and we see him continue to use the kite to steer the balloons. Ted did not have time to tie the kite string anywhere else, as he had it in his hand as he reached for George.
Continuity mistake: When Steve Finch crosses the street to talk to Buddy Hall outside the hardware store, he raises his collar around his neck. Slightly further on in the scene, when the two are in front of the tree, he places his hands in his pockets. The two then walk back to Hall's pickup, at which point Finch's collar is down, and returns to being up when they finish walking. At no time does Finch remove his hands from his pockets.
Continuity mistake: When Yankee goes into his bedroom after losing the baseball game in the sandlot, he tears a hand-drawn picture of himself, Babe Ruth and his dad off the wall. The pieces of the picture fall on the bedroom floor. A few shots later the pieces are missing. Yankee was the only one in the room, and he didn't move them. Plus the window is closed, so it couldn't have been wind.
Continuity mistake: After Marnie and Dylan get out of the cab and walk up to the first building, they're not carrying the luggage, then in the next scene, they have the luggage again.
Continuity mistake: In the opening credits when the title comes up, there is a picture of Mater beside it with the Ghostlight after him. Mater has his right headlight still intact. But during the film, he loses his remaining right headlight moments before he is scared by the lightning bug, before the Ghostlight ever gets to him. (00:00:10 - 00:04:10)
