Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the movie, when Kim Basinger is in the bedroom and walking towards the mirror, the movements of her reflection do not match her movements. She stops moving and her reflection continues to move. (00:04:25)
Continuity mistake: The crescent-shaped scar which bisects the protagonist's right eyebrow in many scenes appears instead on the left eyebrow in many others. Same size and shape, but looking as if photo-reversed; for instance, when his face appears from the darkness to sniff over the shoulder of the red-haired girl, the scar is in the right eye-brow. But during the scene in the plaza before a huge crowd (the hanging scene) the scar is over his left eye.
Revealing mistake: After John and Nelson are led to their prison cell, Nelson walks to the toilet and starts complaining about how disgusting it is. When Nelson steps away from the toilet, he breaks down in tears and let's himself fall backwards against the 'stone' prison wall. The wall is seen moving, which reveals it's not a real stone wall, but made from a softer material, like wood or plastic. (00:25:15)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the guy and the girl are making out on the bed, they trigger a bell to ring in Kane's lair. The bell shown ringing is a large bell on the far left top row of two rows of bells. When he walks into the room to see which bell is ringing, the bell ringing is a small bell in the middle of the bottom row and the large bell isn't moving at all. Later in the movie, that same large bell is triggered when the kids are walking down the hall and hit a trip wire, and it makes a completely different sound than the first time.
Continuity mistake: When the guys in the Impalas are chasing Chevy and his girlfriend from the sweatshop, the last car hits the fence. Right before the car hits the fence a guy is hanging out of the window (meaning it's open). After Chevy walks up and finishes the guys off and turns around the angle changes with the car behind him and the window is up. Chevy would have shot it out EVEN IF the guy rolled it up. (01:03:30)
Continuity mistake: In the scene, near the end, when Raimunda, Soledad and Agustina are having dinner in the deceased Tía Paula's house, there's one shot where Raimunda is looking at Sole, at her right; the next shot shows her, at the very same moment, looking to her left, at Agustina.
Revealing mistake: After Raye has finished writing down the agent's names onto the piece of paper on the subway, the "dead" man next to him can be seen swallowing. (00:57:30)
Continuity mistake: After the scene where Sara and Maria tie up Quentin and take pictures of him naked, when they are leaving the hotel with Quentin tied up, Sara's hair is just below her shoulders, but the whole movie her hair is to her waist.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Rooster is driving/running away from the gangsters, he is supposed to be alone in his car but in one shot a hand appears and is holding on to the passenger side door from inside the car.
Visible crew/equipment: When the girl is bleeding to death in the bathroom you can see a reflection of a camera in the sinks and cabinets.
Continuity mistake: When Ernie lifts the bike, he picks it up by the top wheel. When he is shown carrying the bike a second later, he is holding it by the lower bar.
Continuity mistake: In the last game of the season, little used receiver 88 catches a long pass and runs/falls out of bounds, stopping the clock with 11 seconds left. The clock then starts before the snap of the ball (ball is actually snapped with 1 second left). A play out of bounds should stop the clock until the ball is snapped on the next play (in this way, they should have had time for a couple of plays).
Plot hole: The Death Note that Misa brings to L headquarters is supposed to be fake, but when Light touches it he can see the Shinigami Ryuk.
Suggested correction: Light saw Ryuk after he tried writing a name down in the piece of the notebook hidden in his watch. Since he touched that piece, it makes perfect sense he would see Ryuk as that piece was originally part of Ryuk's death note and wasn't swapped by L.
Visible crew/equipment: When the leader of the national front is giving his speech, just as it focuses on his glasses you can see a boom microphone reflected in them.
Visible crew/equipment: The morning after Jesse loses Boomer, when Molly enters the police station and walks past the office windows, we can see the reflection of the boom operator holding up the boom pole. (01:12:20)
Other mistake: François Cluzet and Marie-Josée Croze are husband and wife who grew up together and have been in love with each other since they were kids. They are shown in flashback scenes when they are kids as obviously being the same age. Yet it is obvious to the viewer that Cluzet is at least a generation older than Croze (15 years to be exact when I checked on IMDB.com) in the time that the actual story takes place in the present.
Revealing mistake: Right after Sage plays chicken with the cops, the cop car is shown peeling out in reverse to follow her down the alley. The dust from the burnout is ejected towards the back of the car. Being a Crown Vic, the car has rear wheel drive but the dust should be moving opposite the car's direction. What this shows is that the car was actually being pulled backwards as it attempted to accelerate forwards. What's more is that even the sound is of a car spinning its tires opposite to being dragged. (00:12:50)
Continuity mistake: When Cash leaves the bar, the back of his t-shirt is clean. When he gets pulled over there is a huge red stain on the back of his t-shirt. As he gets of the bike and walks towards cops his t-shirt is clean again. (00:22:10 - 00:23:30)
Audio problem: After Brian and Mary put their packages into six side-by-side (horizontal) lockers, Brian closed five doors then his hand was too far away (and the door off-screen) to be closing the sixth one yet the sound of it slamming shut was made. (00:32:05)
Revealing mistake: While Suit is in a coma, there's a closeup of the monitor beside his bed showing Suit's vitals, and at the top of the monitor's screen are the words "adult simulating," with the timed "simulating" flashing off and on. There's also a strip of narrow filament tape covering "simulating," but the tape is transparent, so we can still see it flashing. (01:17:25)
