Revealing mistake: There is a large cut on the glass window prior to Liotta smashing it, to make it easier to break. The scratch was not there in the previous shots of them leaving the car. (01:03:05 - 01:28:50)
Revealing mistake: While playing the violin solo, Mun's fingers on her left hand never move.
Revealing mistake: When Jason climbs onto the rail of the fire escape, it is not attached to the wall - intentionally, it has not broken - but then in another shot, two seconds later, it 'breaks'. It pulls out of a visible hole in the wall, although it was never actually attached and there was no hole before. (00:23:25)
Revealing mistake: At the end when Li'l Zé (Zé Pequeno) and his crew want Rocket (Buscapé) to take a picture of them in the street, a long-haired boy with a blue shirt is the first to be killed in the final shooting. A couple of seconds before he is shot in the chest, the shape of the blood pack is visible under his shirt.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where May showcases her doll, Soozy, to the blind children at the day care and they subsequently knock the doll case out of May's hands (obviously shattering the glass everywhere), take a close look at the first little girl to fall into the glass on the floor. You'll notice that there is blood all over her knees before she even falls on the ground. (00:56:55)
Revealing mistake: When Clint Eastwood and detective Jay Winston are talking in her office she walks over to the blinds and touches the plastic piece that closes them but nothing happens, they stay the way they were. She does this twice. (00:25:46)
Revealing mistake: Just after Zak realizes the power of his watch, he and Francesca ride off into the town square and pass a Los Angeles transit bus. In the same town later that evening, as Zak and Doppler are being pursued by the evil operatives, they disengage the hyper-time, and just barely miss a head on collision with a New York MTA bus. (00:33:15 - 00:48:55)
Revealing mistake: When Amy and Ben are sitting on the stairs talking and she asks him if he was freaked out about her saying that they could move in together, if you look in between the bottom stair rails, there is a man in a yellow shirt jumping up and down waving his arms.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jackie Chan are on the top of the building, trying to plant the bug on the briefcase, and the men all attack, as Jackie is hanging over the edge Jennifer has a man on his knees. If you watch closely, or in slow mo, she is about two feet away from actually hitting the guy.
Revealing mistake: When Jen is decapitated, its blatantly obvious its a fake body.
Revealing mistake: In the closeup of the M-60 mounted in the assault truck in the big shoot-out, the linked ammunition has no primers in any of the bullets.
Revealing mistake: When Charlie is writing her letter we can see it through a hidden camera in the pen she is using. By watching the angle on how the camera would be attached to the pen we know that she would have seen the camera. Also her hand would be blocking the camera view, so we shouldn't be able to see anything at all. (00:30:30)
Revealing mistake: When the two main characters explode and then implode near the end, you can see that some of the debris being sucked in are passing "through" various other objects, revealing they are computer generated.
Revealing mistake: When Uncle Mike and Johnny go upstairs at the party to hustle Phil and company, Phil shoots the eight ball towards the corner pocket, and the sound effect indicates he made the shot. Phil says, "That's how we do it," but right as he says this, the eight ball is seen slowly rolling back into the shot, revealing he actually missed the shot.
Revealing mistake: When Tommy and her boys are roughing up Randolph in Angie's apartment, Tommy throws Randolph across the room into the piano. The vase sitting on top of the piano falls before Randolph ever touches the piano. Seen better in slow-mo. (00:57:20)
Revealing mistake: About 30min into the movie, there is a scene at an airport with a 4-engined 707 freighter. As the characters walk behind the jet, you can see that the left-hand inboard engine pod has no engine on it, unlike the outboard pod. The aircraft is obviously being dismantled despite the appearance of having just landed.
Revealing mistake: When Stu is tempting the sniper to see if he will really shoot, the sniper shoots the phone booth, shattering the window, and supposedly hitting or grazing Stu's right ear. When Stu lifts his head, you can see his bloody ear. A few shots later, Stu's head is turned so you can clearly see his fresh wound. If you look closely, you can see Stu's real ear folded back beneath the fake latex one. This happens several more times in the next few minutes of the movie. (00:31:40)
Revealing mistake: When John goes to close Gordon's eyes, as he lowers his hand, you can see him close his eyes on his own.
Revealing mistake: Terry gets drugged. A needle in the neck. Yet she is able to run over to Mike like the drug had no effect on her.
Revealing mistake: It's nice to see that Alex (the helicopter pilot), is able to keep herself in such nice and kempt condition. Look at her... clean, washed and combed hair, makeup, and she's actually got lipstick on in one of the scenes.
