Revealing mistake: When Dolittle is called in the middle of the night to give Miss Parker her injection, watch the injection: When Dolittle pulls the injection equipment away from her fat leg, the needle is gone.
Revealing mistake: The marijuana plants being grown in the film are obviously not real. The plants in the film have very plastic looking leaves with no serrated edges like real marijuana.
Revealing mistake: The scene where Jackie takes Anna for a night ride in the snow is special for several reasons: Even though it's the first snow of the year and no earlier scene made the impression that it is particularly cold, they come by a lake that's half covered with ice. Both don't wear gloves (horse riders usually wear gloves even in summer!), and, in spite of the cold night, their breath doesn't make any clouds. (01:20:35)
Revealing mistake: The same scene is used as two separate shots when Pacino hits the lawyer's windshield with his briefcase. One view from the inside the car then from the outside.
Revealing mistake: In the scene near the beginning it shows a big guy converting a 7-10 split and celebrating. If you watch it closely you will realise that the 7 pin is lined up too far to the left and the ball is already in the gutter when it hits the pin. The movie makers could have at least bothered to repaint the pin placement lane markings so it would not be so obvious that the pin had been moved.
Revealing mistake: After Whale compliments Clayton for the marvellous shape of his head, Clayton pulls faces at himself in the side mirror of his pick-up before he drives off. Considering that the camera is positioned at hip level and we see his face in the mirror he couldn't actually see himself. (00:24:40)
Revealing mistake: When the guy is dead in the car you can see his eyes blinking while he dead (you have to look really hard).
Revealing mistake: Just before Jake is checked into the Surf Hotel, there is a long scrolling shot following the car and shows where Jake's room will be. In particular, there is the Kennedy Fried Chicken sign with one window above 'Chick' and one above the 'K'. After checking into the hotel and the guards leave, we see Jake outside of his window. This shot involves a recreation of the original location because the two windows are now above the 'nnedy' and 'en'. Furthermore, the lights surrounding the sign have changed (some are burnt out or missing, and they don't flash at the same time interval).
Revealing mistake: At the very end of the movie when Kyle Fisher is in the back yard in the wheel chair, he has stumps for legs. However, if you look at the bottom of the wheelchair just below the seat, you can see his feet behind him. It is especially obvious when the wheel chair tips over and his feet move a little.
Revealing mistake: At the end a character is killed and you see him lying on the floor, dead, but still breathing.... (01:43:00)
Revealing mistake: The chimpanzee, Jebo, is wearing a dress and imitating dancing in one scene. As Jebo runs off, Jane exclaims "My dress.". There is NO WAY that dress could have fitted a grown woman. It is a pretty nice fit for the much smaller monkey, though.
Revealing mistake: As a very young Otis Williams listens to The Cadillacs on stage in Detroit, the joint is rockin' with the music, but most of The Cadillacs have no microphones.
Revealing mistake: After shooting in the door to Meg's office, the man in the darker jacket shoots the computer then steps into the room. John jumps him and grabs his gun (his shirt is unmarked in this shot). John then shoots him at point blank range. In the closeup of the shooting, the man's shirt is already torn - and the bloodpack/charge is visible through the hole - for a few frames before the gun is fired and the special effect goes off. (00:22:23)
Revealing mistake: When the dog with its legs in plaster is walking across the passageway the first time you see it its back legs are moving although they're supposed to be crippled.
Revealing mistake: When Eddie Murphy is strolling by the sets, he applies some kind of electroshocks on a woman, which distorts her face enormously (especially her eyes and mouth), which is obviously achieved by CGI. When the shot changes to the inside of the control room, watch the TV screens and you'll see that the woman is only making silly faces, the rest looks normal because they've forgotten to apply the CGI.
Revealing mistake: When Norm McDonald points out the movie line and starts honking and Artie Lange is mooning, you can see the motorcycle cops who were used to block traffic.
Revealing mistake: The de Havilland Beaver takes off the first time for Makatea King Kong peak is in the background (a known peak on Kauai). When they land on Makatea there in the background is King Kong again, right where they took off from.
Revealing mistake: One of the very last clips of the movie - one showing the barricade with a lot of flags - runs backwards. You can tell from the way the flags wave.
Revealing mistake: When Max meets Lenny in the coffee shop, there is a McDonald's logo on the cream he opens. In some shots it's visible and others it's covered by white tape.
Revealing mistake: McClaren breaks out of a building through the picture window. The glass breaks not as a normal window would, but fragments, as if it were sugar glass or similar. It's really obvious.
