Other mistake: A.J. gets dirt on his face although he is covered by an astronaut's suit.
Other mistake: When Will Smith checks into the hotel and his credit cards are invalid, we see that the time is 5:38 and it is daylight outside. The only problem with this is that it is supposed to be around December given all the Christmas decorations. It would be dark then in the Baltimore, not soaked with daylight.
Other mistake: Meowth calls one particular Pokémon in the test tube-thing a Sandshrew, however it is a Sandslash. This is a dubbing error, as Nyasu (Meowth's Japanese name) correctly identifies the Pokémon as a Sandopan (Sandslash's Japanese name) in the original Japanese version. (00:58:26)
Other mistake: When Daniel Baldwin carjacks the guy at the gas station (director Frank Darabont in a cameo) we can clearly see that his car is a Cadillac. However, in the end credits he is listed as "Man with Buick."
Other mistake: Near the end of the film there is a stand-off, if you look in the sky an aeroplane flies by.
Other mistake: The shot of Big Ben destroyed by lightning looks strangely like the Big Ben exploding in the film "Mars Attacks" (1996).
Suggested correction: Whether or not it is the same footage or just similar, it's not a valid mistake as there no continuity or factual errors involved, etc. It's trivia at best, if the two films can be tied together and there's documented reports of someone involved in the films admitting the footage was reused.
Other mistake: When Quin is cutting the plane that's stuck in a tree, he uses a saw, that looks brand new. He's just been chased by pirates and jumped off a cliff - where did he get the saw from? Anything in the plane would be rusty by this point.
Other mistake: At the taxi cab chase at the end, you can notice when the car is a real one and when it's CGI. Note how the real car has scratches and other things on the front of it, but the CGI car, if you look closely, has almost no imperfections, and even if it does have some, it doesn't match the real car one bit. You can see these things when the car drives off his mouth or when you see Godzilla running behind.
Other mistake: Crews is talking to his wife by telephone and says he is in North Carolina. The signage shows he is at the I-85/I-26 interchange in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Other mistake: Mr. Nielsen is hard of hearing and typically wears hearing aids during rehearsals, removing them for the actual takes. In the scene where he is eating spaghetti in the hotel room and watching the news on TV, he suddenly glances behind him at the initials written on the wall. When he turns his head, you can see the hearing aid in one ear; apparently he forgot to take it out before filming.
Other mistake: Half way into the film when the neighbors are mowing their lawn in synchronization, if you look closely the nearest two of the electric lawn mowers are not actually plugged in. You can see extension cord plugs just dangling off of the handle bars.
Other mistake: When the arms deal goes wrong by the river in Paris, Larry drives the Audi flat out straight into the tunnel where the bad guys BMW is parked right in the middle, leaving little space to get another car through. Even if he could squeeze the Audi past the other car, there were dead bodies either side that he would have to drive over, as well as crashing into the doors that were left open. This would have done some damage to the Audi at the speed he was going.
Other mistake: When Data discovers the holoship in the lake he reduces the amount of water in the lake significantly (The ship is now clearly visible, standing out several meters). But even so the banks and the landing stage are still in their correct position. If the surface level had been reduced the landing stage should have been standing out of the water, too.
Other mistake: When Wesley Snipes is being questioned about the double homicide in New York, the detective says that it occurred in December. When Tommy Lee Jones is viewing the tape of the double homicide from the UN garage security cameras, the date from the video tape clearly says "12 Jan".
Other mistake: When Jackie is falling through the trees at the beginning, you can easily tell he is on strings because he would hit the branches with a lot more force than he does, and also wobbles in certain ways which would be impossible to do in this situation.
Other mistake: When the Musketeers are charging the firing squad at the end, they only have about 20 yards to run which they should cover in just a couple seconds, but somehow it takes them much longer to reach the other men. This is especially noticeable since they're running at full speed. (This has nothing to do with editing or slow-motion, as most of the shots are shown in real time, at regular speed.)
Other mistake: Phillip Baker Hall sends Chris Tucker to meet with the FBI immediately after he tells the agent on the phone that he will be sending someone over to them right away. Chris is told by the FBI guy that Jackie Chan's plane arrives in one hour. After Chris picks up Jackie from the airport, he calls his boss to vent his concern. This is supposedly the same day, but both Phillip and Elizabeth Pena are wearing different outfits.
Other mistake: In the final battle where the two rangers are waiting for Upham to bring them 30cal ammo, they fire their rifles through a hole in the wall. At one point two German soldiers are seen dying from the same shot, even though they are at least five meters (about sixteen feet) apart.
Other mistake: In the beginning of the movie, the Russians are watching the race. Some of them are sitting in a van and getting commands in Russian. One of them says "Ed' tuda", (Drive there). That should be "Ezjaj tuda".
Other mistake: When Chip Hazard's chopper is shot down, he jumps clear before it goes down. But he jumps up, and at the height his leap takes him, he should get his head chopped off by the rotors.
