Corrected entry: Through most of the movie, Chris O'Donnell's character is driving a red Taurus. Later when driving to the KKK meeting, his car is gray.

Corrected entry: When Miss Trunchbull notices that the chocolate box lid isn't on, the lid is at a different angle to when Miss Honey put it on the box.
Correction: The angle of the lid on the chocolate box isn't different, the original shot with Miss Honey putting it back on is from the opposite side of the chocolate box.

Corrected entry: Toward the end of the movie when Gary Sinise goes into Mel Gibson's house to collect the reward money and Gary pulls out his gun it is a Glock 9mm. Later when they are fighting and Mel Gibson throws Gary through the glass of the store window and his gun falls out of his hand, it is a Berretta not a Glock 9mm.
Correction: Actually, he was carrying both guns. He uses his Glock at first, but loses it while fighting Mel Gibson. Afterwards, he pulls out his Beretta and uses that as a backup weapon.

Corrected entry: When Abby and Noel meet Brian in the bar, Abby drops some food on her top which leaves an obvious stain, in the next scene when on the way to his house, the stain has gone from her top completely.
Correction: I watched the movie after reading this and the stain is still there. It's less obvious because it's dry, but it is there in the following scenes. There are two big, dry, pale orange looking stains.

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie when it has the close ups of the boxers fighting, you can see that they are hitting themselves in the face.
Correction: When they show the close up, we only see one boxer throwing punches as if the camera (and thus the audience) was the opponent. All you're seeing when Damon Wayans throws an uppercut is his body naturally moving with the force of the punch, not him reacting to being punched.

Corrected entry: On their wedding night Rose goes to the bathroom first. The gown and bathrobe she takes with her are different from what she is wearing when she comes out again. (01:01:05)
Correction: Rose is actually taking her white wedding outfit from the earlier ceremony into the bathroom (not her nightwear) - she hangs it in the bathroom closet after entering the bathroom. This is obvious as her little white wedding handbag is attached to the coat hanger (so it's obviously daywear as we don't take little handbags to bed!).

Corrected entry: In the scene where General Casey greets the Martians, and the Army is surrounding the event, they have Soviet T-55 tanks painted with American Markings.
Correction: They are American M-48 tanks.

Corrected entry: When the Kilmer and Douglas characters find the lions' lair, there are bones and skulls everywhere. All the bones and skulls were clean for the most part. It was said in the film that the lions were killing the people just for sport and not for food, so how did the bones get so clean and free of eyeballs, etc. And it's not bugs or decomposition, or the bones on top would not be so clean.
Correction: The skeletons in the cave were killed for food, as evidenced by the fact that they were taken to the lair. The lions killed the railway workers for sport and left the victims where they lay.

Corrected entry: Joe is mugged several times when he first reaches NYC and he loses different pieces of his luggage each time. Later, when he is moving into his apartment, he has all of his baggage with him.
Correction: None of the things he was carrying with him is seen again in his apartment. As for the stuff he does have, that was likely sent by his parents.

Corrected entry: At the time the film was made, the Celtics team sucked, always finishing low in their division but for movie purposes they are a good team because they made it to the NBA finals. When Mike and Jimmy are talking to Larry Bird they comment on the Celtics real-life situation that they used to be good but are not any more. Then Bird replies saying he hates fans like that who support the team when they are winning and don't support them when they are losing. Obviously forgetting about the movie plot where the Celtics are actually supposed to be a good team that wins most of their matches, get to the NBA Finals and only losing in 7 games to the team with the best player in the league.
Correction: Mike remarks that he and Jimmy stopped liking the Celtics after Larry Bird retired, indicating the Celtics immediately became a bad team (Bird retired in 1992 and the film presumably takes place in 1996). Although the Celtics portrayed in the movie have eventually become a good team, Mike has to keep his bluff going in order to win Lewis Scott over and unfortunately isn't quick enough on his feet to come up with a better lie.

Corrected entry: After Chris the daughter leaves a message on Annie's machine, the others call each other. Annie's voice is on the phone to talk to Brenda to Elise, but accidentally says her own (Annie's) name.
Correction: Annie leaves this message: "Bren? Brenda, Annie. Listen to this." Her first spoken sentence was one word, "Bren?", meaning Brenda are you screening your calls and really at home? Her next sentence is, "Brenda, [this is] Annie, listen to this." and left out the words "this is" because she was merely speaking hurriedly. She wasn't leaving a message for both Brenda and Elise mistakenly calling Elise, Annie.

Corrected entry: This movie is set in a small southern town but in one shot a Raley's supermarket is visible. Raley's only has stores in select parts of Northern California, New Mexico, and Nevada.
Correction: That's not a Raley's your are seeing, it's a Rally's hamburger joint. Those are/were all over the Southeast and in Arkansas where the movie was filmed.

Corrected entry: If there in fact never was a quiet and submissive "Aaron," only an aggressive and angry "Roy," then how was he sexually abused for so long? It's hard to believe that someone as clever and forceful as Roy would allow himself to be humiliated like that, over and over.
Correction: First of all we don't know when exactly "Roy" changed into that very aggressive person we came to see in the movie. He met the bishop when he was younger, and might have been a very differently behaved person then. People do change as they get older! Also he didn't only want to kill his abuser, he wanted to get out of the entire story alive and without spending years and years in jail, so he needed a good plan and usually good plans need a good timing and thus there was a reason to wait.

Corrected entry: Maddie is going through her Polaroid's that are all over her floor while violet is talking online with Rita. Maddie finds the Polaroid shot of Goldie passed out on the toilet that she had added graphics too. Problem is when they broke into the school earlier in the movie. Goldie had seen the Polaroid and stolen it so there is no way Maddie could have had it.
Correction: Problem is, they never show Goldie stealing the Polariod. Goldie is only shown picking up the Polariod and looking at it, therefore she could have either stolen it or put it back in the pile. The fact that Maddie has it later on in the film proves that Goldie never stole it, but put the photo back in the pile.

Corrected entry: In the scene when Doug brings number 2 home to the guest house, Laura drives up, number 2 pulls up the blinds and they both say hi honey to Laura. Then Doug tackles number 2. Then the guest house is shown from the outside, and the blinds are back down at a slant.
Correction: The blinds stay in the up position. Even later when there's a second shot of the outside. There are 4 windows and it is the 3rd window from the right whose blinds are down at a slant. However it was the 2nd window from the right whose blinds were raised, and they stay raised. The blinds on the other 2 windows also are in the same position when seen from outside.

Corrected entry: Bud states there are 385 days in the year and the scientist agrees. (00:26:15)
Correction: She is obviously frustrated with his stupidity at the time and just wants to get rid of him.

Corrected entry: During the initial car chase scene, the speedometer of the stolen car is shown a couple of times. You can see that the speedometer is in kilometers per hour, not miles per hour. This is because most of the movie was actually filmed at a studio in Rome, Italy, so the cars they used were built with European specs.
Correction: In-universe, the car (and the driver from whom it was hijacked from) could have been from Canada, which isn't all that far away from NY, and thus would seem to be totally feasible considering that they too use km/h as the primary units on the speedometers on cars sold there.

Corrected entry: Vanessa makes a point of saying that she doesn't know exactly where in Stockton her grandmother lives, saying "...but once I get up to that Stockton place, I'm sure I'll find her." And sure enough, both she and Bob manage to find this Grandma's house without any kind of address in a town of several hundred thousand people. They must be psychic.

Corrected entry: During the opening credits a map of Great Britain is shown (to help those who don't know where London is). Many of the rivers on this map are completely wrong. For example the Medway doesn't start south of London, and there is a river flowing North through the Surrey/Hampshire area which, given the hills there, isn't possible. (00:01:30)
Correction: The map shown during the opening credits is a drawing made by Emma herself, so she drew London and the town they're living in.
Correction: So he drives a car different than the one he does earlier in the movie. Doesn't mean its a mistake, people drive different cars all the time.
