The special effects guy placed the lights around the clip to make it look like a mirror. Revealing mistake: When the eye doctor becomes hypnotized to put the wrong drops in her own eyes, if you watch the bottle nothing ever comes out of it that could cause her to scream.
Revealing mistake: After the XO orders all stop, we see a close-up of the ship's yoke being pulled back. The next wide shot shows the interior as the bow of the sub is rising, and just before this shot ends, note the console that the man with headphones is working at.
