Corrected entry: Tarantino's one minute speech is actually 82 seconds.
Corrected entry: The young Alan (Adam Hann-Bird) has brown eyes. The older Alan (Robin Williams) has blue eyes.
Correction: Not true. Both have bluish green eyes.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Batman uses one of the gadgets in the Batmobile to drive up the side of the building to escape from Two-Face's henchmen, where does he go from there?
Correction: It can be safely assumed that if a vehicle is designed to make it possible to drive up a wall, it has some means of getting back down at a later time. It is unnecessary for the viewer to see each 'gadget' in use.
Corrected entry: On the back of the VHS case it reads 'Like Smokey who has 24 hours to pay back Deebo...' Actually, Smokey has to pay back Big Worm.
Correction: Pictures or text on DVD or VHS cases are not parts of the movie, and are not valid movie mistakes.
Corrected entry: When Jack and Angela are on the boat, Jack puts a gun in his jacket pocket. A few minutes later, Jack drops his jacket to the floor but the noise that you hear when it hits the floor surely isn't loud enough for a gun to be in his pocket?
Correction: Since the gun is IN his pocket, the sound of contact when dropped to the deck is muffled by the fabric.
Corrected entry: At the end of the Valley party, Cher and her friends are walking to the car. When she gets in she is holding a snowman that is glowing, but you can clearly see that the cord is not plugged in.
Correction: Have another look. First, before Summer and Tai get in the car we see the long cord that runs up the stairs, towards the house. Second, when they are in the car with Frosty the Snowman, the cord hangs over the car door, and when Tai waves the cord moves - it is white above and black below.
Corrected entry: Near the end, when the three are in red, Noxy says something to the effect of "They're standing up for us", and Patrick's lips are the only ones moving.
Corrected entry: In the scene where McClane and Zeus are arguing by the fountain, McClane is slamming his near-empty water jug around as he berates his 'new best friend'. Moments later his container is seen to be almost full, with exactly two gallons of water.
Correction: There are some scenes in between these two scenes, and more than 'a few moments' passes. It's clear that they had been experimenting with the water jugs in the intervening time.
Corrected entry: When the Yellow Ranger is having her big fight scene with the ooze men, if you look over the cement wall in the background you can see a stagehand run across. (00:24:55)
Correction: This is actually an ooze man running to join the fight.
Corrected entry: The scene where Mike, Marcus and Julie is trying to get away from the bad guys in the ice-cream truck filled with ether; Mike shoots the barrels of ether he just threw out of the truck and the car chasing them explodes - you can see the cables connected to the car doors that keep them from flying all over the place. (01:09:00)
Correction: No cables can be seen.
Corrected entry: During liftoff, one of the five second stage engines fails. This is indicated by a shot of the control panel, and one of the five indicator lights is flashing with a buzzer going off loudly in time with the flashing light. In fact engine failures were indicated by having a light simply go out, and there was no buzzer. Director Ron Howard originally shot the scene accurately, having a light just turn off was visually uninteresting and did not convey the drama of an engine failure. After getting the OK from Astronaut and technical advisor Dave Scott, the more dramatic indication was used.
Correction: Artistic decision to convey the drama and assist the audience, not really a movie mistake. A typical embellishment which is quite permissible in movie world.
Correction: Actually the indicator lit up if an engine was generating less than optimal thrust (ie a shutdown) While you are correct it did not flash or set off a caution/warning tone, all lights would have been extinguished and 5 would be lit with a solid light.
Corrected entry: In the film, Casper says that ghosts don't have reflections, but at the end of the film when the two kids at the party are looking at their costume in the mirror the ghostly trio appear behind them.
Correction: The scenario is that the two kids are looking in the mirror and the camera views their reflection. When the ghostly trio comes up, they show up from the mirror, not the kids. But since the kids are looking at the mirror (and that is our point of view as well) it is natural to assume that the trio is with us rather than coming from the mirror. If you watch carefully when the kids run away, the trio come from the mirror to chase them out.
Corrected entry: Featuring the Exxon Valdez in the movie is a nice piece of social commentary. However, when the real Exxon Valdez was repaired and placed back into service after the Prince William Sound disaster in 1989, it was rechristened the Sea River Mediterranean.
Correction: The ship was renamed EXXON Mediterranean (type Exxon Mediterranean into a search engine). This alleged mistake is already covered under trivia.
Corrected entry: When everyone is jumping out of the plane, Monroe tells Peter he'll take Amy. The pilots jump out along with some equipment, then some porters. Mr Homolka has to be pushed out and Karen jumps out after him. Peter then goes and so there's only Monroe, Kahega and Amy on the plane. Monroe and Amy jump, but we never see Kahega jump even though he manages to land before Karen Ross and Monroe.
Correction: The fact we see Kahega lands indicates he jumped from the plane (we just don't see it). As for landing before Monroe who jumped first, Monroe, with Amy, opened his chute right away. Kaheag on the other hand obviously chose to free-fall a little before opening his chute and thus passed Monroe on the way down.
Corrected entry: Jamie Lloyd was at least nine in Halloween 5, which was released in 1989. Halloween 6 was released in 1995. That would make Jamie Lloyd about 15 or maybe even 16. Jamie Lloyd appears to be much older at the beginning of this film.
Correction: Jamie is actually 15, as said on the official halloween website, she just looks older.
Corrected entry: In the scene when the cadets switch Major Payne's cupcake (so that he'll get sick) the cadets are all dressed in blue shirts and pants. But in the next scene, when the cadets are gathered around the boy who fainted (when the Major farted) you can plainly see that they're all in camouflaged clothing - even the boy who fainted. If he had been knocked out that whole time when they changed clothes, someone must have taken off his blue clothes and put him in camouflage.
Correction: Payne didn't care that the boy was unconscious, so he had the other kids change him into his camo uniform so they could go to the shooting range, where this scene takes place.
Corrected entry: In the film, the character of Sister Helen is played by Susan Sarandon. Midway through the movie, there is a scene where several people are congregated outside the building where Poncelet's appeals are being held. Sister Helen is talking to her laywer friend, who, at the end of their conversation says, "OK, see you later, Susan."
Correction: Not true. He says, "Sister" not "Susan". During the entire movie Hilton Barber calls Helen, "Sister"; never by her first name.
Corrected entry: In Deb's funeral scene Corey is lighting the candles surrounding the bed. She lights the first then blows on the match to put it out but then continues to light the second candle with the same match.
Correction: When she lights the candles, she never blows the match out; she moves her head, and the position of her mouth only makes it look like she blows it out, but she doesn't.
Corrected entry: Near the beginning when Nomi and her female friend (can't remember her name) get a bite to eat, Nomi's friend gets two huge sodas. A few seconds later Nomi puts the straw in and takes a sip, but it makes a noise like it's almost empty.
Correction: This could've been because there was a hole in Nomi's straw. Often when there's a hole in a straw, it makes the whistling noise similar to the one in heard in the film no matter how full the drink cup is.
Corrected entry: When the helicopter near the dish in Cuba crashes it pulls Famke away from Bond, as she is attached to the chopper by a rope. The tree breaks her movement and she dies. She should have been ripped to pieces or cut in half by the rope which after all had a helicopter attached to it.
Correction: She is killed by smashing against the tree at the same time the helicopter hits the ground. At the moment the helicopter crashes it stops pulling on the rope.
Correction: Character mistake. He wasn't keeping track of time. Bruce Willis was, but it is very possible he let Tantino's character go 22 seconds over the time limit to let Chester (Tarantino) finish his sell. Remember, Leo (Bruce Willis) was also very excited to get the bet underway, so he cheated a little to give Chester more time to convince Ted to "be the diceman".
