Corrected entry: During the first few moments of the film the General that Major Payne reports into is wearing the Service Charlie Uniform. This uniform consists of a white skivvy shirt to be worn under the Service Charlie shirt. However, one is not visible where it should be. (00:04:20)
Corrected entry: During Payne's daydream at the train station the Viet Cong soldier's gun bounces around like rubber.
Correction: The statement is correct it's just not a mistake, it was done intentionally for comedic effect.
Corrected entry: After the opening sequence, when Major Payne is at his home base, the sign reads "Camp Pendleton, Virginia" Any marine worth his salt knows that Camp Pendleton is in California.
Correction: Any Marine worth his salt would know there is also a Camp Pendleton in VA, at Virginia Beach, VA, as well as near Oceanside,CA. See: http://www.geocities.com/hrforts/Camp_Pendleton/index.htm for the website about Camp Pendleton, VA.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Major Payne and the guidance counselor are at the club, Wayans is eating his food really fast. In the next frame where the camera is behind Wayans looking at the nurse, in the corner the food is intact.
Correction: The food shown is the plate of the guidance counselor.
Corrected entry: In the scene when the cadets switch Major Payne's cupcake (so that he'll get sick) the cadets are all dressed in blue shirts and pants. But in the next scene, when the cadets are gathered around the boy who fainted (when the Major farted) you can plainly see that they're all in camouflaged clothing - even the boy who fainted. If he had been knocked out that whole time when they changed clothes, someone must have taken off his blue clothes and put him in camouflage.
Correction: Payne didn't care that the boy was unconscious, so he had the other kids change him into his camo uniform so they could go to the shooting range, where this scene takes place.
Correction: Technically Marine Corps uniforms are not required to have under shirts worn. Besides he could be wearing a v-neck which is acceptable also. And when the major reports to the school, it would not be appropriate to report in dress blues.
