Continuity mistake: Beth's tattoo disappears then reappears in different shots.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of Chen Zen's trial there is a shot of the guards closing the courtroom doors. Then there's a wide shot of the whole courtroom and the guards can be seen in the background closing the doors again. (00:41:01)
Character mistake: In the beginning of the film, Doug Chesnick is on a plane returning to Washington. The flight attendant brings him a Bloody Mary with the Vodka in a bottle next to the drink on the tray. He drinks the drink without pouring in the Vodka.
Continuity mistake: After Meredith Johnson is "turned down", she goes storming out of her office after Tom Sanders. She leans very far over the stair rail to yell at him. In the following shots, it alternates between Meredith standing nearly straight up and leaning way over so the camera could get a cleavage shot.
Visible crew/equipment: When Vincent is washing his face in the bathroom at the diner, you can see a male crew member's face in the mirror.
Factual error: In one scene Cobb and the sportswriter doing his biography are driving across the country to get to the baseball Hall of Fame. They are stopped next to some railroad tracks fixing a flat tire, and a train goes by that has Burlington Northern markings (BN). Burlington Northern didn't come into existance until ten years or so after Mr. Cobb died.
Revealing mistake: Most of the police cars are late model Ford Sierras, but any police car that crashes has been substituted for a much older early model Sierra.
Continuity mistake: Mr Sullivan gives the stolen snow blower to his ex wife's husband for safe keeping, suggesting a tarp in the back of the garage. In a subsequent scene the snow blower is back in Sully's pickup for all to see.
