Continuity mistake: Near the start of the film where Emilio is making himself a very large drink, the bottles of alcohol move about on the bar between shots and camera angles.
Continuity mistake: At one part in the movie Christopher Lambert points a revolver at a gun dealer. When they cut back he is pointing a semi-automatic pistol. This is done three times.
Continuity mistake: When Charlie asks for the check in the restaurant, the check is brought and he reaches for it with his left hand. When Tony protests that he'd take care of the check, there is a shot from in front of Charlie and his *right* hand is trying to grab the check. It continues to switch between shots until Harriet grabs the check and pays for it herself.
Continuity mistake: There is a scene where Kim Basinger's character has been paroled from prison and is taking a train from the Athens, GA to Atlanta, GA. First there is no commuter train from Athens to Atlanta and clearly this scene was shot inside a MARTA train, Atlanta's local transit system.
Continuity mistake: When the Detectives are talking to the Chief about the Blues the Chief is peeling an orange: which gets peeled, the skin is thrown down on the desk, then it gets peeled again until the detectives leave the room when the orange peel hits the desk again.
Continuity mistake: During most of the movie, Miklo has these incredibly blue contacts on. However, in some scenes (also closeups!) his eyes are the actor's natural grayish-green color.
Continuity mistake: When Andy goes to see Tracy's mother, she has her hand around the whiskey glass, but when he stands up, her hand is resting on the table, and when he turns back, the glass is in her hand again.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the show Archie (Rosie O'Donnell's dog) jumps on Miguel Ferrer and they all fall in the pool. In the next scene, Miguel shoots Rosie, the cops shoot Miguel, then Archie is next to Rosie who is lying on the cement and the dog is dry.
Continuity mistake: The two buddies are eating and listening to the exposition news item about the "Zone of Personal Freedom." In the last part of the scene ("Who do you suppose are gonna call to clean that up?" the straw inside Chad McQueen's milkshake keeps swapping position between the middle and the rim of the glass.
