Continuity mistake: In the bowling alley, 'Pal' comes over to speak to Tia. During their conversation, the camera pans to Maisie throwing a bowling ball; however Tia is now sitting alone. Pal has disappeared. (00:40:10)
Continuity mistake: The batting order in the one-game playoff is Taylor-Dorn-Cerrano (as seen in the 7th), with Hayes batting before Taylor (as seen in the 9th). Cerrano hits the homer with two outs in the 7th, and Hayes is shown batting with nobody on, and two outs in the 9th. If they faced the minimum, Hayes would've been up with only one out (#5 batter gets the third out in the 7th, 6-7-8 batters get out in the 8th, and the #9 batter gets one out before Hayes). There's no way they could've gone through the line-up again without scoring a run. The furthest they could've gotten was the #8 batter (two spots before the leadoff Hayes) coming to bat in the 9th with two outs and nobody on. (01:23:30)
Continuity mistake: Notice Marty's hair in the scene when he's playing "Johnny B. Goode." It's quite larger than when he says, some seconds later, "I guess that you're not ready for it yet." That's because when he says that, it's a recycled shot from the original BTTF, whereas most shots showing he's playing the guitar are newly made for BTTF2. However, Marty's hair is considerably longer in the new shots. (01:27:19)
Continuity mistake: After the SWAT team busts into the Griswold's home and an officer yells "Freeze!", Clark's right arm changes position from either being raised or lowered as the scene quick cuts.
Continuity mistake: During the first car ride scene Harry is spitting the seeds out the window. One of the shots shown of the car from the outside shows the window still up after he has rolled it down.
Continuity mistake: When Philip surprises Alex and Corrine undressing in the living room, Corrine throws her panties in the air and they land on Philips' head. Philip pulls the panties off his head and throws them down. After a quick cut to the surprised Alex and Corrine, the camera cuts back to Phillip with the panties magically back on his head.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Belushi and Jerry Lee (the dog) enter the warehouse, Belushi askes everyone to stop what they are doing and even has the forklift driver lift him up so he can talk to them. Once he is done talking, he tells the lift driver to bring him down. The next few shots where they show Belushi walking to his car, if you look closely, you will see that the fork lift is back up in the air, but there were no sounds and there isn't another lift to be found. Continuity mistake: In the beginning during the Indiana Jones parody one of the men pulls a gun on Weird Al with his left hand. Then Al lashes his whip, slicing his arm clean off. Then we see a RIGHT arm fall to the ground, gripping the gun in its hand. [Explanation: The live scene was shot one morning, and the actor who had his arm whipped off was cleared and went home. After lunch the prosthetic arm was delivered, and it was the wrong arm. They were on such a tight budget that they couldn't delay the shot, and flipping the negative (so right becomes left and vice versa) wasn't an option because the scene with the small pond had already been shot, and couldn't now be shown in reverse. This is from Weird Al's website, www.weirdal.com.] (00:01:40)
Continuity mistake: When Mikey is talking about his diaper being wet in the crib there is a rattle to his right which appears and disappears throughout the scene.
Continuity mistake: When Tango and Cash are playing the "good cop, bad cop" routine with Requin, the tape on Requin's mouth is almost off, but in the next shot the tape is OK.
Continuity mistake: When Eddie tells Homer about the Wady robbery while they're driving along, there's a change from broad daylight to late dusk in mid-sentence. (00:33:05)
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie Dave takes Walley's jacket and uses it to help them slide down a cable. Before they slid down, Dave tells Walley to hold on, and Walley asks if they're going to be above the ground. Dave tells him no, and off they go. However, Dave is deaf, and reads lips, and Walley is standing behind him when he asks the question. So how did Dave read his lips if he wasn't looking at him?
Continuity mistake: While Tom Hanks is driving to the motel after leaving the fish packing plant, scratches are on his face and blood is on his ear. When he pulls into the parking lot of the motel, the scratches are gone.
Continuity mistake: When Harris is briefing the new group for the first time, Hightower loosens the leg of Harris' chair so that it breaks when Harris sits down. When Harris gets up from the middle of debris, the next shot shows an innocent looking Hightower and the chair is intact in front of him.
Continuity mistake: When Art is eating breakfast at the Peterson's house, he takes items from the fridge. Watch when he comes back over and talks to Ray. The position of the pineapple under his arm changes from shot to shot. (00:10:40 - 00:11:25)
Continuity mistake: When Vigo throws the streams from the proton packs back onto the Ghostbusters, there is a wide shot of Egon getting thrown way over to the right. However, when they do a closer shot, he is way over to the left, closer to the other three Ghostbusters. (01:33:50)
Continuity mistake: In the shot where the Roses are hanging in the chandelier, Kathleen Turner goes from being barefoot to having some type of shoe on and then back to barefoot.
Continuity mistake: Ruth's pink checklist never looks quite the same throughout the movie. When she crosses "FAMILY" off her list, her line is crooked, but the next time they show the list, that line is very neat and straight. You can also see differences in the circles that she draws around the numbers. Sometimes the circles intersect the dashes, and sometimes they don't.
Continuity mistake: At the patch ceremony, Chica goes over to Phyllis to get some food and she has her patches on. The patches weren't given out until the next scene.
Continuity mistake: Bernie's facial expression changes from the smile on his face when he first get injected with drugs to a smirk throughout the movie, to no expresssion and back again.
