Revealing mistake: When Kirsty encounters the 'skinless' Frank, he says to her 'It's Uncle Frank' and you can see his left hand is normal and flesh covered, even though Frank is supposed to still be missing all the skin from his body. (00:58:10)
Revealing mistake: Shelly Long and Bette Midler are running on the beach trying to get in the helicopter's light. In the far shot, when they are running out from under some structure, you can EASILY see that it is two men in drag. They are taller, a bit more "husky" and are having a hard time running in heels.
Revealing mistake: While it introduces the chipmunks in Athens, it shows the three chipmunks and it shows Theodore looking around. There is a food cart right next to him with nobody behind it. But a second later, right when Theodore gasps, a man just magically appears behind the food cart.
Revealing mistake: At the end when Whoopi falls down the hill and hits her head on the rock, it's obvious that the rock is not real, since the rock moves very easily considering its size.
Revealing mistake: At the end of the movie after Necros falls from the plane the camera cuts back to Bond, as he tries to struggle his way out of the nest. If you look closely under the nest you can see Necros at the start of his fall again. Also notice Necros is replaced by a dummy.
Revealing mistake: At the end of the movie, the trio arrive at the oil fields, crouch behind the rear of a car and Axel picks up some red dirt, explaining that it's the same as what was on Bogomil's shoes, and the horse. It is obvious that the crew just spread a small area of red dirt around for the shot. The majority of the area is regular brown dirt.
Revealing mistake: After CD has swoon Roxanna for Chris, Charlie falls out of a tree in front of the old ladies. If you look close you can see a darker patch of grass that CD falls in. It's clear it's placed there as a soft landing pad for the stunt man to hit.
Revealing mistake: When the boys shoot the flaming arrows at the workers tent, it's painfully obvious they land in spots covered in fuel.
Revealing mistake: The homeless man attacks Kathleen and she screams. But it isn't until 5 minutes later that Sanger comes to her rescue, when he only left moments ago.
Revealing mistake: When Caleb shows Mae his horse and it rears you can see the man holding the horse's rope is not Caleb. The man has an older, redder face and greyed sideburns. (00:08:21)
Revealing mistake: The principal apprehends the two younger and bigger guys at once (and for some reason they don't gang up on him and kick his butt). The other guys in the Chevy decide to get back in and drive away. You can already see on the dirt the path they will follow, which is logical for the bit in reverse but not so much for the part when they turn left and go forward, which is not how the car could arrive to that point. And when later the car circles around, it moves also on a path that was not showing in the first shot. (00:11:50)
Revealing mistake: When the baddie rises his hand to grab the frisbee with blades his hand is blatantly fake.
Revealing mistake: When Harry screams through the windshield of a car you can see the actor's mouth and teeth inside of Harry's mouth.
Revealing mistake: There are times in the movie when you can tell Bobo's beard is fake such as when Penny's giving him a drink from a 7-11 and it's peeling off near his right ear.
Revealing mistake: At one point Charles Bronson wields a rocket launcher, the type which is a one shot disposable variety that comes pre-loaded with the rocket inside the launcher and it cannot be reloaded. The problem is, before he fires, he swings the launcher so the audience can plainly see there is nothing in the launcher just before he fires.
Revealing mistake: Terri is replaced by a stuntman in a dark blond wig once she puts on her motorcycle helmet outside the hardware store.
Revealing mistake: When the plumber is climbing out of the very snow covered well, the snow on top never shifts - an impossibility considering the actor's size and weight. The snow on the ground moves as expected. (01:05:10)
Revealing mistake: When Frank Bauggs is falling from the building, he is a very obvious dummy. His body limps around too much. (00:50:45)
Revealing mistake: Despite being bitterly cold outside, there is no breath steam/condensation from anyone. To really top it off, when hot soup is brought outside to warm the woman, no steam at all is radiating from the soup.
Revealing mistake: A bunch of seedy individuals are gathered, weapons in hand. Unbeknownst to them, though, deadly ninjas are creeping by, with all the speed of fast-forwarded footage. The problem, besides how obvious the trick is, is that it also features a visible jump cut; you can see the foliage change position literally from one frame to the other during the same shot.
