Trivia: S.E. Hinton, the author of "The Outsiders", has a cameo in the scene where Johnny is lying on his stomach in hospital, playing the nurse tending to Dally who says "what did you do with your gown?"
Trivia: The Playstation 2/PC game "Grand Theft Auto - Vice City" by Rockstar Games is modeled on Scarface; the mansion, cars, environment, buildings, the Babylon Club ('Malibu Club' in the game), and even some of the game scenarios are similar (for instance, taking over the mansion and chainsaw scenes).
Trivia: Closely listen to the TV playing in the background, when Mathew Broderick comes home from school, before all his trouble starts with the Feds. The local news is on, and is saying "a fire broke out in a prophylactic recycling factory."
Trivia: A group of old college friends reunite at the funeral of Alex, another old college friend. The part of Alex, the corpse, who is only partially seen in the unusual opening credits with the undertaker, is played by Kevin Costner, in one of his first roles on film.
Trivia: Jennifer Beals never actually danced in the movie. The dancing was actually done by three different people. Marine Jahan a professional dancer did most of the dancing. The dives through the air were performed by Sharon Shapiro who was a UCLA and National Gymnastics champion. The breakdancing parts, such as the floor spin, at the audition were performed by Richard Colon known as Crazy Legs who was the leader of world renowned breakdancing troupe The Rock Steady Crew.
Trivia: The bar man in Pancho's Happy Bottom Riding Club called Fed is in fact Chuck Yeager. He was on set as an adviser and was given a cameo role.
Trivia: The last assignment Christopher Walken gives his students before his accident is to read about the headless demon in the story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Years later he played the Headless Horseman in the movie "Sleepy Hollow."
Trivia: Clint Eastwood's friend Horace, the black male first seen sneaking up on him with a shotgun is also in other movies with Dirty Harry. His first appearance is the first "punk" where Harry gives his famous "Do you feel lucky...?" line to. He also appears in the Enforcer as Mustafa, the black militant leader. He is also in the second, Magnum Force, playing a pimp who is followed in his Cadillac with tiger skin seat off the freeway by the corrupt traffic cops. He talks a little to the officer and then, like other dodgy characters in the film, is shot a few times.
Trivia: Some of the campers seen getting off the buses at the beginning of the film are relatives of the cast and crew.
Trivia: When Arnie and Leigh discover that the car has been trashed at Darnell's Garage and Arnie suddenly turns on Leigh, yelling at her and shoving her backwards, note the look of shock on her face - it's real. Keith Gordon (Arnie) explains on the DVD that in rehearsing the scene, he purposely didn't react as violently, so when the scene was shot, his behavior change actually shocked Alexandra Paul (Leigh). Trivia: Remember the bit in Scream where Tatum says of this film "if you freeze it just right you can see his penis"? Well, she's right - you can! (It's in the love scene right after the girl plays sax in the street.) Keep in mind that it's a body double, not Tom Cruise, though.
Trivia: Director Sylvester Stallone has a cameo in an early scene where Tony is looking down the sidewalk in a crowd. Stallone bumps into Tony, and they turn to look at one another for a moment.
Trivia: The registration number N77GH is visible on a gold placard on right surveillance camera' but only civilian aircraft are given November numbers. Military helicopters only have a series of numbers like on the tail. You aren't supposed to notice Blue Thunder's real "N" number, but it is there throughout the movie making it known it was truly a civilian helicopter.
Trivia: There were no stunt doubles used for the final fight between Chuck Norris and David Carradine. The two actors demanded they did the scene themselves, in spite of strong protests from the producers.
