Revealing mistake: When Paddy lays dead on the beach holding a barrel, the kids turn him over and a crab crawls out of his mouth. You then can briefly see his nose move like a rabbit sniffling. Also his pupils are narrow, and a the side of his neck has a pulse. In other words, he is very much alive. (00:24:30)
Revealing mistake: When Biro stabs the Imperial soldier with his sword, it's obvious that the sword is angled to miss his body. (01:30:50)
Revealing mistake: When Tony is having his first fight in the embassy, it is obvious that most of his punches do not connect at all. The people he supposedly hit still react as though being hit, and the sound effects of a fist hitting a jaw are still there, even if Tony misses by several inches.
Revealing mistake: During the scene in which Lou forces himself on Kim in the lunchroom, donning a black ski mask, Kim's brother Alex jumps up to his sister's defense. Just before Alex throws his first punch, Kim screams "Michael," referring to the actor's real name Michael Tough. Kim then correctly screams "Alex," the name of the character he was playing in the film.

Revealing mistake: In the scene at the golf course, Mary Tyler Moore and Donald Sutherland are supposedly putting out on the 18 green. If you look carefully, you'll see more than one hole cut in the green. They're actually on the practice putting green.
Revealing mistake: The door to the weather observatory shows that it is a set by the lack of a complete door frame at the bottom which would let rain and other elements in under it.
