Continuity mistake: In the final scene on the bridge, Spock and McCoy are wearing coloured arm bands which identify their departments: Spock's is orange (for Science) and McCoy's is green (for Medical). In the very last shot, Spock is wearing the green band and McCoy is wearing the orange one (corrected in the 2022 re-release of the Director's Edition).
Continuity mistake: After Ajax is arrested Swan goes to the station with "tough chick", the first time you see the train platform it's empty but a few seconds later a man has appeared from nowhere, then a policeman sees Swan and chases him and the man has once again vanished. (00:55:25)
Continuity mistake: In the playboy bunny scene, the helicopter's main rotor keeps on starting and stopping. (01:06:39)
Continuity mistake: When Goose crashes his motorbike, he lands on his front. The previous shot shows him falling back-first.
Continuity mistake: The Black Stallion was played by a horse with white markings; it's occasionally possible to see them under the black dye, especially during the desert scenes.
Continuity mistake: When James Bond is fighting with the pilot on the aeroplane, the wall beside the door is beige when viewed from inside and brown when viewed from outside.
Continuity mistake: Lupin's car windows are blown away in the car chase, and he and Gingen break all the remaining shards of glass from them. They then return again when lupin pulls up to the princess' car, then disappear in the following shot.
Continuity mistake: When Gonzo is flying in the air holding on the balloons and then is shot down by Doc Hooper and lands on the car, the last two balloons are yellow and pink, but when the car takes off after Gonzo lands on the roof - the two balloons are now both blue.
Continuity mistake: When Halloran sets the barn on fire to distract the Germans he lights up some straw with a match. All of a sudden you see flames flickering up at various places which could not be caused by the fire he made. (01:32:45)
Continuity mistake: Following the shoot out between the Germans and the Greek partisans being aided by the English and American POW's, a German Officer leaps onto a motorbike and takes off into the narrow streets of the village. An American follows on a motorbike and sidecar. Towards the end of the chase the bikes 'jump' over a cart. The German Officer's cap flies off, yet as he tears into a courtyard he has his cap back on.
Continuity mistake: During the time when Vince and Sheldon are on the highway, in the cab fleeing the bad guys in Tijada , the same cars can be seen over and over again between shots.
Continuity mistake: Colour Sergeant Williams and Private Storey are miscredited as "Company Sergeant Major Williams" and "Corporal Storey." Neither is promoted over the course of the film, and both are not only addressed as "Colour Sergeant" and "Private," respectively, but also bear the rank insignia of a Colour Sergeant and a Private, respectively.
Continuity mistake: When Mary Steenbergen and Malcolm MacDowell are in a restaurant and he's eating ice cream, his hand holding the ice cream spoon is in a different position when he's shown from the front than from when he's shown from the back - one way it's up, the other it's down. Also, the spoon disappears whenever the shot is from the back.
Continuity mistake: V.I.N.CENT's pupils are usually round, but when nose to nose with Maximilian, they're square.
Continuity mistake: In "Plot to Kill a City: Part 2", Kellogg is told the man was lying about the top button giving access, so he presses the bottom button, which goes dark. In the shot of them entering, the buttons have switched, with the top on dark.
Continuity mistake: When the purser's safe falls through the ceiling, we get to see the safe come to a rest, and we can see the door to the safe is still perfectly in position and still closed. The next shot looking down on the safe now shows the safe with the door now fully opened.
Continuity mistake: The adventurers are met by a ship with a single sail that has a triangular symbol on it. When they first see the ship the sail is unfurled and shortly afterwards it is unfurled again.
