Continuity mistake: Henry takes off the wrong shoe/sock to dry off.
Continuity mistake: When Manning first writes the word "assume" on the blackboard, it is written down towards the left center of the board. Then later in the scene, the word switches position to the upper left part of the board, then eventually back to the left center again.
Continuity mistake: In Owl's house the animators have forgotten to color his umbrella among other things in the background. In a couple of shots later, they have now been colored. (00:29:20)
Continuity mistake: When Evel Knievel goes to the insane asylum to break his buddy Will out of the institution, he crashes through the front door with the Stratocycle, breaking off the airplane-style wings on each side of the bike in the doorway. In the next shot, as he rides down the hall, the wings are still intact.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scenes, when David is chiding Gail for grabbing him through the porthole of the wreck, his right hand is gloved, then ungloved, then regloved..all in the space of a few moments.
Continuity mistake: After tennis, when Annie is driving Alvy uptown in her VW, she spots a parking space on the street and quickly pulls in behind a parked, driverless, red station wagon. Immediately, in the next shot, as they are opening the car doors to get out, they are behind a blue car. (00:27:25)
Continuity mistake: During a conversation between Charles Bronson, Lee Remick and the bar owner, one of the cutaway shots of Lee Remick is reversed. The part in her hair changes sides and she is looking in the opposite direction.
Continuity mistake: When the teacher stands and challenges 'The Car' in the cemetery, the gates cast their shadows to our left. When the car reacts, beginning to do 'doughnuts' in the dirt, the shadows fall to our right. (00:47:30)
Continuity mistake: The senator is tossed out of the boat and consumed (with the exception of his head) by the monster, and yet the boat is full of blood.
Continuity mistake: In the scene at the remote gas station, after Brubaker has entered the office, he goes through the cash register which is located at the end of the counter [viewer's right]. A couple of shots later, after breaking into the Coke machine, and while he is at the pay phone, the cash register is nearly a foot to the viewer's left on the counter. Also the coin box from the Coke machine is to the right of the cash register on the counter. In the previous shot when he turns from the Coke machine to go to the pay phone, you see the end of the cash register without the coin box in the way.
Continuity mistake: After Blackbird has been hit in the face by the custard pie, when she walks toward Tim the amount of pie on her face changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: The protagonist and his friend are driving to the designated target. The headlights of the car behind them get significantly closer in a sudden cut during their conversation. (00:02:35)
Continuity mistake: After the Abebo murders, tempers run high at the meeting of the clan. The sinister Sakoda accuses the one raising objections to be a wimp, and the guy slams his fists on the table. The president of the meeting says "stop it"; Sonny Chiba is leaning forward with both hands, but in the next shot he has one hand in front and one in the back. (00:20:00)
Continuity mistake: After the disco scene, the protagonist is back home. She receives a phone call from Jacques and meets him. When she has a wine glass in hand, the glass switches hand from left to right in the cut when she sits down.
Continuity mistake: During the theatre scene, the usher puts a knife to the man's throat, in the next scene however, the man's head has now moved to the right and there was not enough time between shots for this to have occurred.
Continuity mistake: When Bobby's watch turns 11 pm, he goes outside. His injury on his face is on his right side, but when he starts to go out into the desert, the next close-up of him, he is wounded on the left side of his face. Then, in the next shot of him after running and tripping, the wound is back on his right side. It is obvious the shot was reversed.
Continuity mistake: Joe Lo Monaco is having breakfast with his lawyer, Morris. The banana in his hand is more chewed or less chewed between shots; for instance, after he tells Morris"I didn't fly you to LA to bake in the sun", he chews it till he reaches the peel, but the edible part stick out again in the next shot. Moreover, a new intact banana appears on the tray where he put the half-finished one before. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: The spider lady and the vet go to the rancher's place to burn out the spider hill. While there, a bull runs out and collapses. While the spider lady is talking to the rancher's wife, her hands are by her side. When the camera switches to the wife's point of view, the spider lady's hands are in her coat pockets. When the view switches back, her hands are by her side again.
Continuity mistake: When Regan and Bianca first jump on the bus to escape the hitmen you can see through the windows that there are only six people on the lower deck, but when the scene changes to inside the bus all the seats are full. (01:00:24)
Continuity mistake: Inès the Housekeeper is on the boardwalk looking at the ship and the various passengers that disembark. She waves at Mrs. Susan House when she sees her, and walks up to her, meeting there amongst the passengers who just got off the ship...the same dudes (a man with a striped T-shirt, a guy with an open shirt with white pants, one denim-clad guy with a bag) who were lazing around not too far from her when she was on the promenade.
