Trivia: This episode has the infamous scenes in which Mary wants Matt's help with kissing. Supposedly, the original script involved the siblings actually kissing for practice, but Jessica Biel (playing Mary) and Barry Watson (Matt) refused to do it.

Trivia: During the first season, the credits ended with a shot of Chelsea Hertford, who played the youngest daughter, taking off Gerald McRaney's cap and putting it on her own head. The USMC complained, saying it was disrespectful, and after that, Chelsea was seen just reaching for the cap but not removing it.

This song has recently (in a slight variation) resurfaced in Kung Fu Panda.
