The Pin-Up - S7-E17
Stupidity: After Erin leaves with the military captain to Camp Lee, John and Maryellen turn around to see John Curtiss nowhere around on the porch where Maryellen left him. So John goes off to look for him, while Maryellen goes in to check The House. John Curtiss is a one-year-old baby who couldn't open a door.
Stupidity: When Richie and Fonzie swap clothing and walk in for The Duel with the Frenchman (both with faces covered to conceal their plan), the whole audience watching The Duel gasp and are all surprised to learn they switched places. But, before the switch was revealed, Richie (as Fonzie) walked in with a nerdier style walk and Fonzie (as Richie) walked "cooler" and looked much more in shape. Also, the head covering Fonzie wore was sheer and you could still see his face, but everyone was STILL fooled.
A Bad Reflection on You - S1-E38
Stupidity: The decision to risk revealing their identities to Bulk and Skull is one that the Rangers could have easily avoided. Since they tell the bullies to cover their eyes and ears, under the false pretense of a magic trick, they could have simply teleported to the Command Center, or any other secure location, and then morphed, well away from prying eyes.
Stupidity: Genzo suffers a possibly career-ending injury to his ankle. He goes to the doctor for that, and the doctor talks to him, and they discuss this important matter...without his parents or a legal tutor, teacher, coach (there's nobody present at the visit, and he walks out of the hospital on his own). He's eleven years old. His personal coach that follows him anywhere is nowhere to be seen in this episode, obviously because it would detract from the drama if he were around to explain stuff to Genzo's teammates or the main Nankatsu team coach.
Firefly, Light My Fire - S1-E1
Stupidity: The button Benita uses to open her trap door also turns on/off the record player and swings the record arm.
The Ghost that Sacked The Quaterback - S1-E15
Stupidity: It's hard to believe that prior to building a new stadium the owner wouldn't remove all the trophies and memorabilia from the old stadium's sports hall.
First Kiss - S1-E2
Stupidity: When Jeff Malone leaves the sandwich shop, he leaves the sandwich on the table. It would have been very easy for them to tell what was on the sandwich without needing to wait for Max to get home to recreate it. (00:02:41)
Girl Trouble / School Dance - S3-E18
Stupidity: Girl Trouble: Helga pulls a nasty prank on Arnold in class by gluing feathers to his bottom. Mr. Simmons sees this, but for whatever reason, does not give Helga detention for it. The next day, Helga spills paint on Arnold, then he throws some on her as revenge. Mr. Simmons sees this and gives Arnold detention even though he was simply fighting back at Helga for pushing him too far. Perhaps Mr. Simmons' brain was on vacation those two days. (00:03:16 - 00:08:42)
Zorro's Ride Into Terror - S1-E8
Stupidity: When Diego sees that the passage door is opened, he invites Sergeant Garcia to sleep in his bed. However, Diego never tries to close it, and in the rest of the scene, nobody (even Captain Monasterio) seems to see it open.
Stupidity: Aunt Bee learns that a New York writer and his wife have moved to Mayberry and she invites him to speak at a Literary Club meeting which will be held at her home. By telephone, Aunt Bee gives directions to the writer's wife. She says, "We're a quarter mile outside of town" - but she neglects to say in which direction.
