Plot hole: When John retrieves the mail from the postman, Iris dashes outside. Less than 10 seconds after she closes the door, a car is heard, off-camera, honking a horn. Wouldn't John have found Iris so soon after that noise is heard? She doesn't seem to have enough time to allow for a search for her.

Plot hole: When Jo is getting to walk down the aisle with Queen Clarisse, he hands Shades his top hat and then pops his ear piece right off, in a split second, and puts it in the top hat. In the previous scenes, Princess Mia has Lionel's ear piece stretched from the back of his neck, across his jaw and around his chin and then stretched to her ear but it hasn't popped out, while Queen Clarisse jerks Charlotte with her when she goes to listen to Princess Mia.

Plot hole: Junuh gets the lowest score on the 17th hole in the final round, which puts all the players at 'even'. It should therefore have been his honour 18th tee. He actually tees off last, which would indicate that Jones and Hagan had bettered (or at least matched) his score on the 17th.

Plot hole: They all drop their backpacks and bags 3/4 mile down into the hole before climbing by rope into the caverns to begin their journey. Later in the movie, they are all sitting deep in the caverns complaining about the lack of water supply. Suddenly the long-haired guy pulls out a large glass bottle of gin, completely intact and they all drink from it. There is no way his pack could have fallen 3/4 mile onto a hard surface without that bottle breaking.

Plot hole: The first time David werewolfizes, he's reading a book in the brightly lit apartment. Exterior shots of the full moon show it's nighttime out, so the lights inside the apartment must be on. But when Dr. Hirsch calls to check on him, the shot is of the phone ringing, unanswered, in the completely darkened apartment. That's considerate, David. Even as a werewolf, he must have run around turning lights off before going on his rampage.

Plot hole: If Tori (Jessica Pare) has fears of being discovered that she's a lesbian and involved with Paulie (Piper Perabo), why would they be making out in the schoolyard and hanging all over each other in the gazebo?

Plot hole: Mr. Foyt spies on J.J. and Victor to find out more about the Cannonball, yet fails to recognize them when they stop to pick him up.

Plot hole: When Farley is preparing to rescue Simon by towing him up with the rope attached to his van, he drops his "cigarette" into his crotch, causing him to floor the gas pedal. His back wheels begin to spin. This is impossible because the vehicle is still in Park. There is even a camera shot of the "PRNDL" proving this. I guess this goof is employed by the filmmaker to increase the dramatic effect of him subsequently slamming the Dodge into drive a second later and careening through the fence. (01:07:35)

Plot hole: When Ralls runs the Witch onto the reef, he is at the helm. As she strikes bow on, the wheel spins madly for no reason, as the tiller ropes would not have been affected by the collision.

Plot hole: Katherine (Kirstie Alley) the tooth fairy is instructed by Rodgers (Lynn Redgrave) that she can only go out at night, otherwise she stays in an apartment in Limbo to get her assignments. She is given names all over the world. There is always a part of the world that is in nighttime. She should always be working and never at Limbo.

Plot hole: The scene where Andie comes over for dinner and moves a bunch of frilly stuff into the bathroom, happens at least one day before she comes over with the wedding album she made. In that scene, Ben goes into the bathroom to splash water on his face and discovers the pink hand towel and other stuff - that means he would not have gone into his bathroom for at least a day, or two, since she put the stuff in there, or he would have noticed it sooner.

Plot hole: Dora is sleeping after being taken to the hospital, she wakes up in Paul's bed. Assuming, she recognizes the place as the one where the fundraiser/party is held, how can she know that it was Paul's bed and that he lived there? Furthermore, she also seems to know that she was in the hospital, and that Paul was the one who took her. Seeing the exchange of dialouge between Paul and the doctor, and Paul and her, there was no way she could have known that information prior to her waking up.

Plot hole: The boys who chase Sarah pick up large stones from a carefully tended lawn, and they find them between the leaves without a bit of searching around. (01:15:45)

Plot hole: When Carl is helping Molly out after Sam dies, he manages to find Sam's address book in a box, which he needs to launder the money at the bank. So why does he need to convince Molly to take a walk outside so Willie can break in the apartment and steal it? Carl knows which box the address book is in, and could have easily stolen it earlier when Molly was not in the apartment.
Suggested correction: Carl couldn't have stolen the address book earlier; it's possible he didn't know where it was, and he had to use the visit as an excuse, or it's possible he knew where it was but was thwarted because Molly wouldn't ever give him a chance to steal it, since she wasn't leaving the apartment. And he couldn't steal it later, because Molly wasn't leaving the apartment. His only chance was to lure Molly away so that Willy could come in and get it.
Since he worked at the bank with Sam, he could, without raising any red flags, simply ask to copy a few numbers from the book. Also, while he was walking with Molly, how did he contact Willie and tell him to go in? They didn't have texting back then. And how did he not know Molly had come back, if she had been walking with him? Other than the obvious, fourth-wall-breaking excuse that he didn't want us to know he was the villain yet.

Plot hole: The hot air balloon carries Fogg and friends quite a distance, but where is the heat source?

Plot hole: How did Dolittle manage to rescue an incredibly heavy bear from drowning? He must be unbelievably strong to be able to drag a bear of that weight. (00:35:25)

Plot hole: Lucy has been painting pictures of Henry since she moved into the institute. But she passes him at the zoo and doesn't recognize him.

Plot hole: Darby goes to great pains to get out of the country, to where no one will know where she is but Grantham. But upon reaching her "secret" destination, a van pulls up to the plane and a man gets out and hands them an envelope with a copy of the front page of the Washington Hearld with their breaking story and both their names as by-lines. That couldn't happen unless other people besides Grantham and the pilots knew her destination.
