Revealing mistake: After Mary Robert jumps out of the car, you can see the stunt double falling for her.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Violet sings for Kevin for the first time, he starts to switch the lights off. Notice when he has turned off the lamps, the room is still very bright, but when he blows the candle out, the room is suddenly totally dark. That single candle could not possibly have lit-up the room and the characters the way it did, after the electrical light was switched off. (00:58:20)
Revealing mistake: Lizzie has black nail polish and the same size of nails throughout the entire movie. Supposedly, Lizzie and Isabella are different people. But, when Isabella comes back, you can see she has the same color nail polish and the same size of nails as Lizzie. I don't think it's just a coincidence.
Revealing mistake: When Dewey is singing the protest song about midgets in 1966, modern cars can be seen driving in the background.
Revealing mistake: During the end scooter sequence along the cliff tops, you can clearly make out wheel tracks stretching out ahead of Phil Daniels' bike, yet he hasn't been over that ground yet - these are presumably left-overs from a previous take?
Revealing mistake: When the sniper is shooting the cans, the close-up of the first can shows the metal peeling out as though the bullet had come from inside instead of outside.
Revealing mistake: The films takes place in and around NYC. The nitpick here is that in many scenes in the film Torontos CN Tower and The Sky Dome are visible in the background.
Revealing mistake: When Jake and Elwood are driving through the mall, they leave by driving through some store, if you watch as the people run to get out of the way, a black man with an apron on runs right into the camera. (00:31:40)
Revealing mistake: After Johnny leaves, they show Baby standing on the porch of her family's cabin. If you look in the background you see two people waiting for their cue before they start walking. (01:24:30)
Revealing mistake: In the middle of the scene where it shows what the class does throughout the week, Dewey is shown playing a bass guitar with no strings. (00:50:00)
Revealing mistake: Towards the end when Vanilla Ice jumps the motorcycle over Nick's car, you can see the ramp he used through the car's windshield.
Revealing mistake: Right at the start there is a TV 'clip' showing the crowds outside the Lyceum. This is supposedly 1974 but you can quite see a pretty modern looking CCTV camera above the Lyceum door.
Revealing mistake: After Josie kisses Allen M. at the concert, she moves back to her microphone to sing. Her Guitar part starts up again before she has her guitar pick out of the strings.
Revealing mistake: Don't worry, Aunt Sally isn't really dead. She's still breathing in the shots where people come to look at her in her coffin.
Revealing mistake: Wait until the end of the bonus footage of the Spice Girls' live performance of "Mama". At the very end of the song, the music and voices fade out. Sporty appears to throw her body and soul into one of the lyrics, even though the lyric is barely audible because of the fadeout. It actually looks pretty funny.
Revealing mistake: When all four of the guys are driving the Volvo through Detroit, if you watch real close, sometimes you can see 1980's and 90's vehicles parked on the side of the roads. Especially when they show a long shot with an older mustang following them, there is what looks like (it's hard to tell) a newer Buick or Chrysler (like the 300m) on the left side of the screen.
Revealing mistake: When Marius is talking to Lestat on the beach, the victim that Lestat drops is a dummy. (00:24:05)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where the three escapees are jumping into the train, when George Clooney jumps up you can see that the chain linking him to Delmar gets longer. (00:05:10)
Revealing mistake: When Wayne has gone to the church for Cassandra and finds out that it is actually the one across the street, he walks across between them. If you look where the sun is coming from, his shadow is actually in the wrong direction when he is between them. (01:18:10)
Revealing mistake: In an early scene Cole and his future wife watch fireworks over Paris through a doorway overlooking a balcony. The explosions are reflected on the glass of the open door, which is at an angle to the POV. But the CGI fireworks and their reflection in the glass are squashed to fit into the foreshortened pane of glass. In reality the reflected image would be like any mirror, with the image inverted left-for-right.
