Plot hole: After Abe is shot, an ambulance shows up, throws Sherry in the back and leaves. There is no way that the paramedics would leave without first speaking to the police on site, making sure that no one else there needed medical help and confirming Abe was dead. I've ridden with an ambulance 4 or 5 times and they never stay at a scene less than 15-20 minutes.

Plot hole: If the Devil made Claire blind again, how did she read the fine print of the devils contract with Toxie saying that there was an escape pod?

Plot hole: After the police discover the plot to kill Lynn by her ex-husband, they never bother to visit his house to arrest him. If they did, they would have found him dead already and would have KNOWN that the killer was still at large.

Plot hole: Susan theorises that the insects have evolved to resemble people because of predatory pressure. However, for this to be true people must have been killing them - apart from the handful of 'moles and junkies' (who were the prey, not the killers) this film shows the first contact between humans and the evolved 'Judas bug'.

Plot hole: When Quatermass is being admonished by the senior minister for talking to the press, Breen gives his own theory to explain the presence of the spaceship: He says that it was used a propaganda weapon in 1944 and that the figures inside were made up of scraps old skin and bone, why was he unable to explain how the hull of the spaceship was heat resistant up to 3,000 degrees and harder than diamond?

Plot hole: After Dennis (the first guard assistant) gets killed, the vault is open for several minutes before the old guard arrives. The hobgoblins, however, do not run for their freedom, but patiently wait until the hero, Kevin, comes in a later scene and opens the door. Then they escape as quickly as they can.

Plot hole: During the scene in Paula's frontroom right after Spike walks in and confronts the astral Mr. Grubeck harassing Robin, he takes a fireplace tool and swings at Grubeck and it naturally goes right through him, to which Grubeck replies, "You can't touch me, but I can touch you." However, just a minute earlier before Spikes arrival, Grubeck had Robin pinned against Paula's refridgerator and Robin physically pushed Grubeck away from her.

Plot hole: When Toby is checking everyone to make sure their costumes work, wheelchair-bound Bud is shown standing in a coffin-fixture. Since he was in the coffin costume, there was nothing there to be "holding" the character in a standing position, and he was obviously not in his wheelchair, as he is at standing height with everyone else.

Plot hole: The rape scene in the parking lot... there is no one around for THAT long? But wait, once the detectives come in the scene two people are walking in the background with a shopping cart - they must have seen something!

Plot hole: During David Leigh's narrative about Jim's court case, you are shown a number of newspaper headlines concerning the murders. One shows a shot of Locus looking at camera, with the caption 'Did Locus see his killer?' That shot was on the missing film which was found by David Leigh AFTER the murders were forgotten. So how did the paper get the picture?

Plot hole: When the clerk is scratching the lottery tickets for the robber, when he scratches the second ticket he only scratches off two out of three numbers on the ticket, but still says it's not a winner.

Plot hole: What happened to the two boys who stayed in the museum past closing, after the homeless guy seemed to attack (or at least be seen to be stalking) them? The next time we see them, it's the next morning, and they're fine. So where did they go? Who helped them? What happened to the homeless guy? The boys couldn't have just hidden, as the homeless guy has been in the museum for ages, and these two boys just got there that day. The homeless guy would have known all the nooks and crannies and every little hiding spot available; he would have caught them.

Plot hole: After Steven breaks out of prison, he goes to Jason's home. Then Jessica's boyfriend shows up talking on the phone and he says he will ask Jessica for permission to shoot their show at Jason's house. He should know that Jessica doesn't know she is a relative of Jason.

Plot hole: Holmes asks what had frightened Sir Charles enough to make him run away from the house. But when Dr. Mortimer described the scene, he only mentioned that at one point the prints did not show heel imprints. It is an easy deduction that sir Charles had been running, but the doctor did not say anything about the direction of the footprints.

Plot hole: In the scene where Richard Gere is looking at his reflection in the motel bathroom mirror, he imagines smashing his face into the mirror. When the phone rings, breaking his hallucination, he still has blood on his hands but it is never addressed.

Plot hole: When Debbie and Mike are in the pink cocoon room of the circus tent Mike yells, 'Joe Lombardo.' However, Joe Lombardo doesn't die until at least 4 scenes later in the movie, when a Killer Klown edges him off the road and over a cliff.

Plot hole: The army showing up at the end of the movie is wrong on numerous levels. 1) Eugene wrote and sent out the letter that day. I find it hard to believe the mailed letter got to the army in just a few hours time. 2) How did the army know to show up at time square? When Eugene wrote the letter, nowhere did it say where to meet. Plus the boys didn't decide to go to time square until the last minute. 3) since when is the army deployed to battle monsters based on a letter that was written by a child?
Suggested correction: The army's arrival being unrealistic is a very deliberate joke, like the armadillo-rats from earlier in the movie.
I submitted a category change to "Factual Error" to help cover this. It is indeed too deliberate to be a true plothole, but it is nonetheless amusing to point out all the ridiculous ways this humorous scene defies believability.

Plot hole: Buddy is seen at the end of the movie going on the bus that will be featured in Jeepers Creepers 2. When the students and staff encounter the Creeper why didn't he inform anyone that he had encountered the Creeper earlier? The only person that seemed to know anything was one of the girls having a premonition.
Suggested correction: Buddy is getting on the bus to go to the basketball game. When the second films begins, the kids on the bus are celebrating their victory. Presumable Buddy just stayed in the other town for the night or got another ride home.
