Question: Were the writers/directors ignorant to cow/bull terminology and anatomy? Even if one agrees that "cow" can be used to refer to either sex, the male "cows" in this movie should not have utters.
![The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D picture](/images/titles/5000-5999/5107_sm.jpg)
Question: If Lavagirl can control what she wants to burn how come she burns the diary (is it because she was too excited)?
Answer: Lava Girl is always hot to the touch. She can control when she throws magma, but the only way she can have any control over her actual body temperature is to control her emotions, which would naturally be difficult for someone her age. Even then, at her coolest possible temperature, her body temperature would still be very high. There are continuity issues with her body temperature throughout the film, ie, being able to sit on ice for extended periods of time without melting it, but the idea is she always has a very high body temperature.

Question: Is cousin Tilly Bailey, the secretary at the Building and Loan, Uncle Billy's daughter?
Chosen answer: We know that Tilly (Matilda) Bailey is not Uncle Billy's daughter, because when Billy "loses" the deposit money and rushes back to BBB&L, George tells him that Harry's on the telephone and we hear Tilly say, "Hurry up Uncle Billy, long distance from Washington," so presumably she's George's cousin and Uncle Billy's niece. (When there's the run on the bank we see her desk, and there are a few photographs of men, one of which may be her father).
![The Little Rascals picture](/images/titles/1000-1999/1702_sm.jpg)
Question: During the go-cart race, several shoppers are sent flying by the errant carts, one of them an old man who yells "Little rascals" at the kids. He's not listed in the credits but I could swear the old man is Robin Williams in makeup.
Answer: I tried looking this up on the IMDb and couldn't find anything about Robin Williams there. My only suggestion is to watch it again and see if there is a list of extras in the credits somewhere. Maybe that's all the part was, an extra.
Answer: That part was originally supposed to be played by Spanky McFarland, the original little rascal, but died before production began. So an extra was used.
I must ask, do you have a source to back this up? I can't find one and it also seems to contradict what other original cast members said. Some original cast members/children of original cast members stated they were not made to feel welcome on set and couldn't even get hold of the film to take part. They expressed disappointment at not feeling welcome. It would be interesting if they were welcoming to the original Spanky, but not some of the others.
Answer: That was Ryal Haakenson who mostly did background extra roles in the 1990s. This film, he was uncredited for this scene.

Question: Why did the king and queen disappear when the king signed the contract? The deal was that Fiona will be saved from the curse if he did - but Fiona wasn't saved at all. Was the contract void from something?
Answer: Rumpelstiltskin used a contract that 'made all their problems disappear'. He didn't reference any specific problem and the king and queen assumed it would cure the curse. However, it just makes the king and queen disappear, and since they have disappeared, they will no longer have any problems.

Question: I have looked all over the web for the wav of the sound Goofy makes whenever he is falling, which he does at least once in every cartoon he is in. It sounds like 'yah-ha-ha-hooey.' I have never found it, so can someone point me to where I might be able to download it?
Answer: Took about 1 minute to Google this: http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/7451/sounds.html.

Answer: Yes.

Question: When Grey questions Walker about calling children services, why did she keep asking Walker if he did call them? Grey wanted a yes or no from him but, every answer Walker gave was pretty much his way of saying yes.
Answer: He knew if he said, no, it would have been a lie. He tried to answer in a way that would not make him sound like a villain.

Question: When Charlie brings a pizza to the puppies, and they shout, "Charlie", how do they know what his name is?
Answer: Charlie talks to Anne Marie about them so my guess is that he has visited the puppies and the female dog before maybe even a few times.
Answer: Charlie may have visited the puppies before so they know who he is.
![Kung Fu Panda 2 picture](/images/titles/8000-8999/8907_sm.jpg)
Question: How could Shen know that Po would be the baby panda from the village attacked by Shen's army?
Answer: Since Po's father was presumably the only panda to attack Shen's wolves head-on, there's a chance Shen could have seen him. Plus in the flashback, Shen orders his wolves to attack Po and his mother before Po's father defends them both with his mallet.

Question: Why did Brooks want to make his players hate him?
Answer: Since they all came from different, sometimes rival, universities, and thus had no commonality, he wanted to give them someone to dislike together, instead of fighting with one another. If they could all bond over what a bastard Brooks was, they'd come together faster as a team and have a chance of winning.
![Pocahontas picture](/images/titles/2000-2999/2060_sm.jpg)
Question: What happened to the one Native American that Governor Ratcliffe shot? I know he went back to the village for treatment but what happened to him afterwards? Did he die?
Answer: This is a question the movie chose not to answer. It could be assumed he died as the Powhatans did not have the knowledge to treat gunshot wounds. However, there were cases even as far back as this time of individuals being able to survive gunshot wounds as long as the bleeding could be stopped and infection didn't spread. As the Powhatans did know herbs in the land to treat infections and did know how to mend bleeding; it is also possible he lived though he would have walked with a limp for the rest of his life.
![Barney's Great Adventure picture](/images/titles/7000-7999/7505_sm.jpg)
Question: What time of year does this movie take place?
Answer: During Abby, Marcella and Cody's summer break. You can tell because Cody says he wishes to have a real adventure this summer.
![Bambi picture](/images/titles/0-999/115_sm.jpg)
Question: Why wouldn't Bambi's mother tell him that the Great Prince of the Forest is also his father?
Answer: Probably so he would not think he is superior to the other fawns and try to lord over them. She would have told him about his father when he was older. This is also a literary plot device by setting up a dramatic reveal at a crucial time (right after Bambi's mother is killed) that Bambi learns his father is the Great Prince. This has a greater emotional punch.

Question: How exactly did Leslie initially intend on crossing the Bering or Chukchi Sea from Alaska into Russia? I know he and Professor Fate end up floating on a large mass of ice to do so, but that's not exactly something you can plan for.
Chosen answer: The cars and drivers were supposed to make the trip by ship from North America across the Bering Strait to a Russian port, where they would resume the race. As it happened, Leslie and Fate were stranded in a blizzard on the North American side before they reached the ship. The ice beneath their cars unexpectedly broke away and drifted across the Bering Strait, improbably arriving at the intended destination port in Russia. As they drift into port, we see Leslie's right-hand man, Hezekiah, waving at them from the Russian dock, which is only possible if Hezekiah made the journey by the very ship that Leslie and Fate missed.

Question: Near the beginning, what does Wayne mean when he says "Nothing like the smell of 2-part apoxy resin"?
Answer: Epoxy resin is sometimes sold in two seperate tubes. You have to mix the contents of both for the epoxy to harden into plastic. It also shows how weird he is, as epoxy tends to smell pretty foul.
Answer: This is a children's movie and is presented in a manner that will be understandable and familiar for the target audience.
