Continuity mistake: When the Love stone is rolling toward Lawanda, she puts up her left hand in an attempt to stop it. In the next shot, she is holding up her right hand. When the stone hits her, she is holding her left hand up again.
Continuity mistake: When Junior, Trixie, and their parents get their picture taken at the pizza parlor, everyone smiles except for Trixie. Later, when Ben takes a look at the picture, Trixie is smiling.
Revealing mistake: Junior can't get on the Crazy Dance because he is a milimeter too short. After seeing Murph (the 20-year old in his class) and Trixie (on heels) get on it, Junior speeds up the ride and all the kids on it get dizzy and barf everywhere. If you look where the puke shoots out, it's a bit obvious it's not coming from their mouths, but from a point behind them. Most obvious are Trixie and the boy wearing glasses.
Continuity mistake: After Ben wipes his mouth from being hit by the egg, it cuts to Trixie and you can see Ben behind her looking in another direction, without his napkin in his hand.
Continuity mistake: While LaWanda and the family are eating the salad with the bugs in it, they start to notice things moving around on their plates. Ben Healey (Grandpa) says, "What in the hell is in this salad?" LaWanda replies, "It's bleu cheese" after taking a bite of a piece of salad leaf with a big bug under it. During this shot, there is nothing on her face. The next shot is very brief, showing a surprised look on the others faces. In the very next shot, a huge bug is suddenly crawling on LaWanda's cheek. There was no way this bug could crawl out of her mouth and onto her cheek in the time allotted, let alone without her noticing.
Revealing mistake: In the carnival, Jr. gets upset because he was too short to go on a ride so he messes up the ride causing it to go faster. If you look in the background sometimes you get to see other people moving fast, revealing they put the film in fast motion here.
Revealing mistake: The vomit scene was probably filmed in front of a green screen. When the boy with glasses vomits, he wears green pants and we can see through the speed of the ride. [Visible on full-screen].
Visible crew/equipment: In the wedding scene, Trixie arrives in a tractor transporting the love rock. When the camera is close to her, she's apparently driving the tractor. But in the large screen, it's an older woman wearing a white shirt who's driving.
Revealing mistake: In the ending of the vomit scene, a man and a woman vomit. But the woman's mouth is closed for a second while the vomit machine is on.
Answer: He injured his behind when he sat on the toilet after Junior threw an M-80 firecracker into the pot.
