Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film (and at the end, when they show the same scene) the moment before Rocket is about to pick up the chicken, he is only a few inches away from it. The next shot that shows Rocket from behind, the chicken is much further away from him. (00:03:40)
Continuity mistake: When Hightower emerges from the pile of rubble he has dust on his shoulders and arms, but when he walks up to the bad guy the uniform is as good as new.
Visible crew/equipment: After Bond received a lighter from Felix and Della, he uses it, and the flame is big. In the beginning and the end, you can see a tube is connected to the lighter, and the tube goes into his suit. (00:15:00)
Revealing mistake: When De Niro gets shot in the neck, his bald skin cap wrinkles considerably when he presses the wound with his hand. Confirmed by make-up artist Dick Smith in the making-of documentary. (01:40:00)
Visible crew/equipment: When a carload of bad guys drives past the front of Seagal's sister's house and riddles the front of the house with machine-gun fire, Seagal quickly slams the front door shut, and you can very clearly see all the stunt charges attached to the door.
Continuity mistake: After Costello smashes Costigan's wrist he hands all of the dollars he has in his right hand. A frame later money reappears in the hand.
Visible crew/equipment: At one point Clint Eastwood is out in the woods practising his shooting with his new .44 auto-mag pistol. While he's doing this, a car pulls up and a black male begins to get out with a shotgun. (We later learn that this is his partner). As the man with the shotgun is opening his door, if you look at the reflection in the car window, you can clearly see the reflection of a man with a camera and another man standing next to him.
Continuity mistake: When Segal is held captive in the speeding black van, one of the captors is pushed out the side door by Segal and is crushed when the passenger side of the van hits a row of parked cars - one of the side doors gets knocked off but a few shots later, as the van is scraping past a line of cars, the door's back on. (01:04:20)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when Tackleberry glides down the balloon you can see that the color/shape of the balloon changes between the closeup and far off shots.
Continuity mistake: The headlight that is attached to the left side of the windshield frame on Medusa's motorboat, jumps to being on the right side of the frame for a shot, after the female mouse says she'd like to hit Medusa with her rolling pin. (00:37:20)
Other mistake: This mistake occurs in the scene where Ryan (Chris Evans) has just stolen the lawyer's car and is pulling into a tunnel. When Jessica (Kim Basinger) speaks, the English subtitles read "You can't loose me", instead of the grammatically correct "You can't lose me." This also happened earlier in the police stairwell. (00:39:55)
Continuity mistake: When Mathilda spends her first night at Leon's apartment, Leon places a messily folded blanket on her in one shot. The camera then goes to a different shot of Leon, and then back to the original. However, we can now see that the blanket is mostly unfolded and placed neatly on Mathilda. ..... (and little pink doll she is holding changes position). (00:37:15)
Continuity mistake: When Ro eats the tub of ice cream, the way it faces and the amount in the tub continues to differ.
Continuity mistake: After Kid crashes towards the end in his race against Dogg, a wide shot shows that he's quite far from the bike, which is in the middle of the track resting horizontally on its kickstand, with something black against the wall behind him. In the closer shot of Lawrence Fishburne running up to him, he's just struggling to his feet, so hasn't moved, yet is much closer to the bike, which is now right up against the wall, and the black object behind him has disappeared. (01:23:00)
Continuity mistake: Near the end when they're entering the Mexican village, Billy's coat disappears as he rides through the gate. (01:17:45)
Continuity mistake: When Carter is singing karaoke, first you see the girls beginning to join him on stage. In the next scene (right after the scene with Inspector Lee's reaction to Carter singing), you see Carter dancing with a DIFFERENT group of girls (it lasts a couple of seconds). Then, when Lee is calling out Carter, the original dancers from the first scene are back. Use the tall Chinese girl wearing the pink dress on the right side of the screen as reference in the first scene, then she disappears in the second scene and reappears in the last scene. (00:06:45)
Revealing mistake: Riggs handcuffs himself to the depressed businessman. They jump off the building but they're not handcuffed to each other anymore. They used plastic cuffs which could separate during the stunt in case anything went wrong. They break just as they jump, so they grab each other's hands to stay in contact. After they land the cuffs are attached again. (00:31:00)
Continuity mistake: When Creasy kills the first Judicial Policeman, the scene where he cuts the guys fingers off and then shoots him in the head, he pushes the car down a hill. The first angle is from Creasy's view, and the hill is all dirt. It then cuts to a second angle from the air, the hill is now all grass. When the car hits the school playground, it looks like it fell from the sky, with no hill around. (01:22:15)
Revealing mistake: When Draven sends T-bird to his death in his car, the real Ford Thunderbird is replaced by a fake mockup using a flimsy one-piece fiberglass body mounted on a pair of straight axles. When it explodes, the body lifts off in one piece, warping wildly while the front axle simply falls away. No proper car components like engine, transmission, suspension and so on, are seen anywhere, though they should be. (00:57:05)
Revealing mistake: Near the end of the film when we see Rhodes shoot Larry in the chest, you can see an outline of something underneath his vest, very obviously a device/squib simulating being shot in the chest. (01:15:15)
