Continuity mistake: When Seth has been sliced by the blade, he spits blood that goes all over his face. It then cuts to Hoffman looking at him, then back to Seth, and now the blood on his face has gone. This happens three or four times. (00:05:10)
Continuity mistake: In the scene at the apartment with Brett, Vincent closes the briefcase and leaves it on the kitchen counter. He continues to smoke until it's almost time to shoot Brett. They shoot Brett and the scene fades out to be continued later. Later we see that after shooting Brett, Vincent is focused on Marvin still in the corner having a panic attack. Jules tells Marvin to knock it off and the man comes out of the bathroom. Jules and Vincent shoot him, then Vincent chides Marvin for not telling them there was someone in the bathroom. Vincent only has his gun in his hand, no briefcase. Jules and Vincent argue about 'the miracle' and they leave. Marvin never leaves the corner until Jules tells him 'let's go'. Nobody has the briefcase. (00:18:10 - 01:53:30)
Continuity mistake: When everyone is in the Library, you can see the matches in a cup on the left of the fireplace. When Professor Plum says, "Wait a minute, suppose that one of us is the murderer," you can also see that the matches are in a "V" shape. When Wadsworth walks towards them to pull the matches out, most of them are all leaning to the left side of the cup. As the movie goes on, when the cop gets locked up in the Library for the second time, the same amount of matches are in the holding cup as if Wadsworth did not pull them out and they are in a straight line. Continuity mistake: When Amanda and Daniel entered the bathroom from 'Saw', Adam's body is shown with his right leg shackled. However, in 'Saw' and in Adam's death flashback in 'Saw III', his left leg is shackled. (01:14:10)
Continuity mistake: In the end of the diner scene Jude Law fires after the car with Sullivan and his son. A bullet goes through the rear window but not through the windshield. We see the bullet path go by Tom Hanks' head. Regardless, there's no bullet hole anywhere in the car afterwards.
Suggested correction: There is a bullet hole in the rear view glass.
Continuity mistake: When Daniel is being chased by the Yakuzi in their black Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6s, one of their Lancers crashes into the tanks. The car used for that crash is however a Lancer Evo 4, which is older than the Evo 6, and has a different front bumper, bonnet and rear spoiler. (01:17:25)
Continuity mistake: When Paul Blart puts on his Hello Kitty bandaid on his arm in the next shot it has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: Near the end when Tiffany is spitting blood out she gets some smeared all over her face. They then cut to a camera above Virgil's head and the blood smear is gone, but when they cut back to the first camera she has the blood smear again.
Continuity mistake: The whole big prison bus escape scene revolves around Chris Tucker being handcuffed to the French guy, but when Frenchy's friend arrives in the bus he stands up and hugs him while the handcuff is shown completely unlocked from Tucker's hand. In the next shot and the entire next scene they are still handcuffed together.
Continuity mistake: In the restaurant scene where the cigar dispute takes place, Bruce gets his fingers broken on his right hand. Later on in the movie, the two FBI agents encounter Bruce in his yellow Hummer. When he rolls down his window, his bandaged LEFT hand is shown.
Continuity mistake: Sheriff Buford T. Justice gets out of his car and leaves the door open. A few moments later, we see a different shot of the car with the door closed. Then a truck drives by and tears the car door off which is open again.
Continuity mistake: When the girl shoots herself her body is still sitting upright in the backseat, but when the van hits a bump in the road and the body falls onto its side. When the van stops in the next shot the body is sitting back up again without anyone moving it.
Continuity mistake: In an early part of the movie, Francis Tierney, Sr. is standing in front of a paper towel dispenser in a restroom with his son, Ray Tierney. The dispenser, which is visible over Francis Tierney's right shoulder, is at first full of paper towels, then empty, then full again. The paper towels are at first sticking out of the bottom of the dispenser, then they vanish.
Continuity mistake: At the start of the movie when the gun store is being robbed, one of them fires a portable rocket launcher at the police car, causing it to roll over and spin. As it comes to a stop just outside the store, it's visible that the driver's side window has been blown out, and the vehicle interior is visible, however when the same guy prepares to fire the bazooka to finish it off, the window has returned and is completely intact.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Eastwood dismounts from his horse to rescue the calf lying in the river. His horse is left standing in the river with the water up to his knees. When Eastwood places the calf on dry land, his horse is standing nearby. The horse's legs are dry.
Continuity mistake: When Teresa is yelling and hitting Jordan because he cheated on her with the blonde girl in the limo, the car disappears and reappears between shots. (01:00:35)
Continuity mistake: In the getaway scene after Charlie leaves Stella and Handsome Rob to go after Steve, Napster says take the next left and you see the Mini's number plate which reads 2SBI658. When he skids narrowly missing a truck it now reads 2SAQ321.
Continuity mistake: There's a clear mix-up in editing during the car chase. Marta checks her phone twice for Blanc's calls as she tries to get away from the police. The first time the phone signals 9:36 AM, the second time 9:34 AM. (01:31:50)
Continuity mistake: When The Bride is slashed on the upper back by O-Ren in their fight scene she collapses and lands on her back in the snow. After she gets up and the fight continues, there is no blood spot on the snow where she was lying. (01:29:55 - 01:31:10)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Vince Vaughn is complaining to Harvey Keitel in Harvey's office about the hitman he hates his gold necklace is either tucked into his shirt and red tracksuit or hanging out. This alternates throughout shots but during the same conversation.
