Easter egg: On Disc 1, on the Main Menu click on Special Features, select Scene Selection but do not click on it. Press left and a pair of lips will light up. This leads to the movie being black and white until the Time Warp song, which was how the film was originally going to be shown.
Easter egg: Go to scene selections then click left, you'll see a game controller. Click on it to see different still pictures circulate on the main menu.
Easter egg: On the 2 disk collector version, go to Bonus Features. Arrow left once to highlight return arrow, hit down arrow to highlight fish in top right corner of the screen. Hit enter to see an ad for th Aqua Scum 2003.
Easter egg: On the DVD, if you use the Infinite Improbability Drive, you have a chance to see the cartoon that Deep Thought watches. There is no way to access it via menus.
Easter egg: At the main menu, go down to "Trailers" and press the right button once. This will lead to the DVD credits.
Easter egg: In the normal DVD version of Cars, be in main menu and have 'set up' highlighted. Watch the bottom right hand corner. When the logo for Dinoco appears push right and select it. A short part of the animated short 'Bounding' will appear, except that Mater and Lightning are used instead.
Easter egg: If you go to the special features, then go to page two, click on Visual Effects Progression Scenes. Once there, highlight Play All. From Play all press the up arrow on your remote, followed by the right arrow. A dart board will light up red. Press enter and watch a funny slow mo flick.
Easter egg: Go to the special features menu on this disc and go to the deleted scenes menu, if you click up again once you're at the top of the list there is a short scene with Adam Sandler and his cat, Meatball.
Easter egg: When on the main menu, if you click down after the the 'Trailers' button a button will appear on the top left corner of the screen next to the 'Main Menu' Title. It is the credits to the makers of the DVD.
Easter egg: On the Main Menu, when Scooby-Doo is startled by the ghost and he drops the Scooby Snack in his mouth, highlight it and then press Enter. This will access a short featurette on how it rained on set, during filming. Also, on the Special Features' second page, hit left on your remote and the sign with "Zoinks" under it will light up, then hit Enter.
Easter egg: In the "Unrated Version", if you go to the extras menu, go all the way down to where it says "Main Menu". There will be a circle to the right of that. Push the right, but another small circle will be highlighted within the picture. It will show you what they did when they cut off the eyebrow of Jason Biggs.
Easter egg: On the language menu, highlight English 5.1, hit left and click enter on your remote. You will see a hilarious parody of the THX logo and its Deep Note, featuring the robot Tex and Homer himself. At the end, a hilarious parody of the 5 Gum motto "Stimulate Your Senses", will say "Illuminate Your Senses."
Easter egg: Open the Title Selection Screen (on GE DVD Players, press Info) Select Title 8 (on GE DVD Players, press left, then up/down until it displays T 8, then press OK/Select.).
Easter egg: In the main menu, on "play movie", press the numbers 09-23 on the remote as a short cut to other Arrdman classics.
Easter egg: On the main DVD menu screen, when play is highlighted, press up. You will highlight one of the crystals. Press enter, and it will take you to a screen with a bunch of different character's faces. Press enter on any of them, it will give you a soundbite from that character. Also, you can highlight the two crystals on the bottom of that page that are on either side of the main menu option that will give you two other soundbites. On the main menu screen, you can't seem to highlight the other crystal. I don't know why.
Easter egg: On the U.S. version, there are terrific little nuggets in the newspaper "Far Far Away Times". It's located by following this path: Special Features > More > Far Far Away Times. When you get to the page with the newspaper, you can scroll through more than a dozen pages of really witty and amusing "articles", although you can only read the headlines. Starting on the third page - and on many, many pages thereafter - use the "up" arrow to highlight other parts of the pages. It's a real treasure trove. You'll find Fiona's diary (in its entirety), medieval graffiti, tapestries of the King and Queen in their younger days, medieval street signs, posters for musical acts (like the band "Stonehenge" and "Chastity Belt's World Tour"), Before and After pictures (including the transvestite bartender!), Fairy Godmother's various Potions and the Poison Apple's Drink Menu.
Easter egg: At the main menu choose Hibernate. With your DVD remote enter 6 then 9 then 5 and press enter. Two new choices appear, a basic game for kids and a rather funny song with Hammy the Squirrel called Jingle Burps.
Easter egg: On the 2-disc Collectors Edition, go to the second page of the "Bonus Features" and highlight "Evolution of a Golden City". Press the left arrow button on the remote twice and a small figurehead will appear on the lower left corner of the doorway. Press the "Enter" button and enjoy.
Easter egg: 3 easter eggs on German edition (G-41088-ST-FSK): one concept shot of objects, two fully rendered but dumped scenes. Elements of these scenes have been used in the final movie, but at another time and place. 1) go up in the main menu to highlight 2) go up in special features -> activities (Extras > Spiel mit!) 3) go left in the language selection.
Easter egg: In the 2nd disc, go into the Humans Only door. When all the doors in the vault have stopped and have all been activated by Boo's laugh, hit left to highlight DVD Credits, and you'll view them when you hit enter.
