The Letter - S5-E7
Factual error: Sgt. Saunders is looking at a color photo of his kid brother in a letter from home. Aside from being prohibitively expensive for the average family to afford, color photos were not common. Also, the wartime rationing of photo chemicals for color film used by civilians would not be available.
The Letter - S5-E7
Revealing mistake: The same strawberry-blonde haired stuntman (Paul Busch) is used three times: first as an American G.I. being shot, then as a German soldier being shot, and again as another American G.I. being shot - all in the same battle scene.
The Gantlet - S5-E20
Continuity mistake: As Sgt. Saunders hides from the pursuing German soldiers, a German soldier comes abreast of Saunders and raises his hand to his face twice.
The Gantlet - S5-E20

The Gantlet - S5-E20
Revealing mistake: During the close combat scene between Sgt. Saunders and the German soldier, it is obviously Vic Morrow's stunt double doing the heavy action and fighting.
Continuity mistake: After McCall shoots the German soldier dead, the German's body changes from lying face up to face down. Also, the dead German's helmet, which was lying two feet away, is now nestled next to the German's head.
Continuity mistake: The close ups of the dead lieutenant show his teeth exposed while the long shots show his mouth closed tightly.
Revealing mistake: A German soldier steps out of a doorway ready to throw a grenade, but he gets shot, dropping the grenade a couple of feet in front of him. However, the explosion from his dropped grenade occurs from within the doorway itself.
Revealing mistake: When Sgt. Saunders throws a grenade at the German soldiers shooting at him from behind a crate, the grenade lands in front of the crate, but the explosion is actually behind the crate, where the Germans are.
The Letter - S5-E7
Continuity mistake: After an American soldier is shot in the back during the first battle scene, his body disappears a few shots later.
The Losers - S5-E2
Factual error: As Sgt. Saunders and his squad dodge artillery fire in the ruined city, modern high-tension electrical towers are shown. Also, no electrical towers whatsoever would have survived a prolonged artillery bombardment without being damaged or destroyed.
Revealing mistake: Blank .30 caliber machine gun bullets are obvious as the soldier with Little John sets up and loads the weapon.
Continuity mistake: When The Squad consolidates after the battle in the village, Cully has his rifle unslung and is holding his helmet in the close ups, while in the long shots Cully is wearing his helmet and his rifle is slung on his right shoulder.
Continuity mistake: Long shots of the German sergeant shows his MP38/40 submachine gun at his waist and pointed down, but the close up shots of him show the weapon up by his chest, pointed up.
The Losers - S5-E2
Continuity mistake: Kline removes the ammo belt from the dead soldier twice.
Factual error: McCall shoots a German ten times with his M1. But the M1 could hold only eight bullets.
Revealing mistake: The German MP38/40 submachineguns have blank firing adapters on their barrels.
Revealing mistake: Blanks loaded in the German MG42 are obvious as the American tank assaults its position.
