Authority Always Wins - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: When Hoyt is talking to Jason while fixing Maxine's kitchen sink, as Hoyt says, "Why do you care anyway?", Jason has his hand on the edge of the worktop/counter. In the next shot, his hand is resting on the dishwasher, below the counter. (00:42:00 - 00:42:55)

Eric: Godric could have been king of Texas had he wanted. He could have been king of any vampire territory anywhere. He is twice as old as I am and very powerful. There are none above him in the new world.
Bill: Well if he's so powerful, how could they abduct him?
Eric: Now that is what worries me. If one such as he can be taken by humans, then none of us are safe.

The First Taste - S1-E2

Trivia: In this episode, when Sam is talking to Sookie in his office asking if she can hear his thoughts, he tells her she always has a job working at Merlotte's. Once Sookie leaves the office, the camera pans to a painting on the wall of a dog protecting the little girl. It is kind of a foreshadowing that Sam is a shapeshifter (he shifts into a dog) who is always looking out for Sookie and she is not even aware of his supernatural ability.
