Visible crew/equipment: When Charley arrives at the apartment complex in his ambulance after Cromartie kills all the SWAT officers and throws them into the swimming pool, a camera and a cameraman are reflected in the ambulance's left wing mirror as he gets out.
Continuity mistake: When John gives Kyle Reese his baseball back, Kyle is wearing a baseball glove on his left hand. As Kyle takes the ball from John however, it disappears from his left hand only to return instantly several shots later.
Visible crew/equipment: At the beginning when Sarah, John, Cameron and Derek are driving past the dead cows, the shadow of a camera can be seen on the inside of the passenger door that Sarah is sitting in.
Continuity mistake: When Sarah is talking to the little girl about who her father is, the little girl's hair moves between shots.
Continuity mistake: As the FBI agent shows his ID to Dixon, it is in his right hand, the badge end up. He holds a folder in his left hand. The camera cuts away for just a moment, then returns to show the ID in his left hand, badge to the right, and the folder is in his right hand, all without enough time to make the switches. (00:08:55)
Other mistake: Season 2, Episode 20: "To the Lighthouse" - In the flashbacks to the jungle, John is considerably younger. Sarah however, is not. Adults don't change nearly as much as a child would in the same time period, but this is a pretty big jump back in time. John is only a child in the flashbacks, putting Sarah in her mid to late 20s. Yet she still looks 35 and even has the exact same skin and facial structure.
Plot hole: When John inserts Cameron's CPU, she restarts nearly instantly. She recognizes John right away and speaks to him by name. Yet seconds later, we see through her eyes as her system reports recognizing him, but she already does.
Continuity mistake: As Cromartie is approaching the Dyson home, he carries an automatic rifle with his right arm. As he makes a turn toward the left, he lowers the rifle down to his side, pointing it at the ground. He hears a car start and an instant camera angle change shows the rifle is still pointed forward and upward, not down, with no time for the change. (00:32:55)
Continuity mistake: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - When the Jeep Cherokee flips, it lands on the driver-side/rear corner of its roof, completely collapsing that corner of the roof. The camera angle changes and instantly the Jeep is landing on both of its driver-side tires, roof intact, and rolls onto its left side. The angle changes again, and the collapsed roof is back as the Jeep slides a bit more before the shot changes again, and the undamaged roof is shown as the Jeep rolls onto its roof and comes to a stop. The camera pans around the rear of the wreck, and there is no roof collapse at either rear corner.
Continuity mistake: As Cameron is questioned about the girl that commited suicide, the interviewer holds a photo of one of the mostly-black posters. When we see his view of the photo, the white letters spell 'DAN', but before and after that shot, when we see his face, we can see through the photo, and it only reads 'A', which is a different poster seen earlier in the same episode. (00:22:55)
Continuity mistake: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - As Derek sits at the table, Sarah is digging jelly from a jar with a knife, moving it onto toast that sits on a plate on the table. The shot instantly reverses and the jar is on the table and she's spreading the jelly with the knife on the toast she now holds in her hand.
Continuity mistake: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - Sarah carries a plate with a sandwich and a tall glass of milk for John. After talking with Cameron for a few moments, she heads to John's room, arriving with the plate and sandwich, but no glass of milk, and with some of his clean clothing.
Deliberate mistake: On several occasions throughout both series/seasons, whenever a Terminator fires a weapon, they blink. This should not happen because that would be a human reaction - Terminators aren't human. They're made to look and act human, but SkyNet don't focus on the little things; such as emotions, breathing and reflexes. The three most notable instances of this are in Season 1, Episode 5: "Queen's Gambit", Season 2, Episode 21: "Adam Raised a Cain" and Season 2, Episode 22: "Born to Run". In "Queen's Gambit", Cameron blinks as she fires a machine gun at the T-888 in the back of the black van as he runs towards her, in "Adam Raised a Cain" the water delivery Terminator blinks as he shoots Savannah Weaver's nanny Debbie and as he shoots the security guard and Catherine Weaver in "Born to Run".
Continuity mistake: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - When Elison is sitting at the rear doorway of the ambulance, in close-up his hands are away from his face, out of shot. But the instant the shot changes to show him from further away, his right hand is covering his mouth.
Revealing mistake: When Sarah breaks the window to distract the Police Deputy, the door that the Deputy kicks in opens before he kicks it.
Revealing mistake: When Sarah and John leave the chapel after attempting to disable Cameron, they run across the road and almost get hit by a car. Watch Sarah's face in the close up shot: she's trying not to laugh and is somewhat smiling.
Visible crew/equipment: When John and Derek arrive at the school, a crew member is visible in the car's right wing mirror. (00:06:00)
Visible crew/equipment: After Derek speaks with General Hobbs and meets John outside, the reflection of a crew member can be seen in the car's front grill. (00:19:15)
Visible crew/equipment: After Cromartie lets Agent Ellison go after killing all the SWAT officers, there is an overhead shot of the swimming pool. Next to the SWAT officer closest to/behind Cromartie, a hand emerges from the pool. The shot immediately then cuts to a close up of Cromartie.
Answer: It was cancelled due to declining ratings. Season Two had about half as many viewers as Season One.
