Visible crew/equipment: When Wally enters the kitchen and tells June that Beaver is upstairs changing his backwards underwear, the T-mark is visible on the floor under the sink. (00:01:05)
Continuity mistake: While Beaver and Larry are watching the "corkscrew" digging a hole, when their books and lunchboxes are run over by a truck, the damage changes in the following shots. (00:04:40)
Visible crew/equipment: After Beaver and Larry decide to head over to the supermarket for free food samples, when it cuts to Wally's bedroom, there's a T-mark on the floor beside his bed. (00:09:55)
Visible crew/equipment: After June tells Ward the TV set is broken so the boys have nothing to do, when Ward enters their bedroom we can see a crew member's hand in the hallway reach up to close the bedroom door. (00:01:40)
Visible crew/equipment: While Wally and Beaver are in their bedroom, when Ward comes in to talk to them the actor's tape mark is visible on the rug beside desk, where Wally is writing the letter. (00:01:45)
Continuity mistake: When June enters the boys' bedroom at nearly 1:00 am, she turns on their light. In the closeup, she flips the light switch, which is already in the up position, and the light turns on, but in the next shot, the light switch is in the down position. Then, when June exits their bedroom, in the wide shot, the light switch is in the down position, but in the closeup, the switch is in the up position so she can flip it down (off). (00:06:35)
Visible crew/equipment: In the middle of the night, when June walks in on the boys reading Tom Sawyer by flashlight under the blanket, the shadow of the moving boom mic is visible on the wall, at the right side of the screen. (00:06:40)
Visible crew/equipment: In the kitchen, when June tells Ward the boys finished breakfast and went back upstairs with Tom Sawyer, there's a chalk T-mark on the floor near the sink. (00:07:45)
Visible crew/equipment: After Bengie pours the green paint all over himself, when his mother arrives, there's a chalk T-mark on the floor by the door. (00:19:45)
Visible crew/equipment: As Ward and June are discussing the pigeons, the camera moves in for a close-up - and its shadow becomes visible on the left sleeve of June's dress. (00:11:40)
Continuity mistake: When Beaver and Wally are examining Ward's old trunk, two of the pictures of June taped to the inside of the lid go from being a couple of inches apart to right next to each other to apart again. (00:07:05)
Visible crew/equipment: The shadow of the boom mike is visible in the background when Wally is saying that June looks "ritzy". (00:14:45)
Teacher Comes to Dinner - S3-E9
Continuity mistake: As the family is sitting at the breakfast table during one of the very first scenes, Beaver gets up to leave for school. The checkered napkin in his lap falls to the floor as he walks to the back door. The camera cuts back to the table where the napkin has magically reappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Ward is talking to Beaver in the bedroom, he stands behind Beaver and is in the process of combing his hair. When Ward sits on the dresser, Beaver's hair has somehow finished being combed. (00:24:18)
Visible crew/equipment: Beaver is pretending to have a football game with himself. You can see the boom mic shadow to the left of him and it continues all the way to when Wally and Beaver go sit on the bench. (00:10:45 - 00:11:11)
Character mistake: As Eddie Haskell and Lumpy Rutherford return from the washroom to Mr. Gannon's history class, Mr. Gannon calls Eddie "Louis."
Character mistake: When Gilbert and Beaver are talking to their English teacher in the classroom, the teacher addresses them as Mr. Cleaver and Mr. Harris (as opposed to Mr. Bates). This same name discrepancy is referenced on this site in another episode.
Continuity mistake: There are a couple of continuity errors in the dance scene: First, the 4 girls sitting across from the boys switch positions from one shot to the next, then the last girl (long dark hair) disappears from the row of girls entirely, only to show up on the dance floor later in the scene. She was across from (and should have been paired up with) Beaver; instead, the teacher nods toward a now-empty chair and remarks that they "ran out of girls". (00:08:00)
Other mistake: In the opening, when they get into the car, it's obvious that there is no glass in the rear window.
Continuity mistake: Beaver gets his tonsils out in this episode, but in 3-29 "Beaver's Monkey", Beaver compared the situation in that episode to being just like when he had his tonsils out. Did they grow back?
