A Hundred Yards over the Rim - S2-E23
Visible crew/equipment: When Christian walks up to the man in front of the diner, you can see a crew member in a plaid shirt and white pants reflected in the man's sunglasses.
A Hundred Yards over the Rim - S2-E23
Continuity mistake: When Joe (the diner owner) hands Christian Horn the glass of water, Horn grabs it by the base of the glass and drinks from it holding it the same way, almost to the last drop. The camera quickly switches the angle to show Horn finishing it close up, but this time he's holding it with his fingers wrapped around the glass. The camera switches the angle again as he's handing it back to Joe, once again holding it by the base.
A Hundred Yards over the Rim - S2-E23
Factual error: Although set in 1847, Christian Horn is carrying a rifle made in 1884.
The Rip Van Winkle Caper - S2-E24
Factual error: When they looked at Mr. Herbie's case, they only saw the skeleton. Problem is the clothing was missing, where there should have been some remnants. And the vehicle started with no trouble. After a hundred years, the battery should have been dead, and the engine inoperable.
The Rip Van Winkle Caper - S2-E24
Revealing mistake: The suspension machines are nothing more than large terrariums, there doesn't seem to be any electronics or piping or machinery of any kind attached to them.
The Mind and the Matter - S2-E27
Visible crew/equipment: While Beechcroft talks to his boss in the men's room, the boom shadow moves across the wall at the upper right of the screen. (00:03:35)
The Mind and the Matter - S2-E27
Other mistake: In the office, Beechcroft's Mirror Image's hair is styled like his own, rather than reversed, as a reflection should be. In his bathroom, the hair in The Mirror reflection is correct.
Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up - S2-E28
Continuity mistake: During the scene in the diner between Ross the Martian and Haley the Venusian, there are objects such as a napkin dispenser visible on the counter over the left arm of Haley, which then disappear in the shots over Ross' right arm.
Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up - S2-E28
Plot hole: At the end of the episode, the trooper answers the phone declaring the bridge is safe to cross but the driver is still worried. The trooper says "We'll go on ahead, cross the bridge first." When Mr. Ross returns to the diner, he tells Haley the bridge wasn't safe. It collapsed. The state police car, the bus, everything went into the river with no survivors, except him of course. Here's the problem. The troopers were going to cross the bridge first to check its safety, then let the bus cross (1 vehicle at a time). That means only one vehicle could have made the bridge collapse, not both at the same time. If the police car made it across safely, then the bus caused it to collapse. If the police car caused it to fall, the bus would not have gone anywhere near the bridge. Therefore, the story Ross gives Haley throws off the whole point of the police going across first.
Suggested correction: It's simply a story he made up walking back to the diner. It's clear he caused the bridge to collapse and made sure all the vehicles went in.
Doubtful. He was very clear and precise about everything that happened on that bridge. Besides, he explained exactly how he survived, and the plans of his friends landing soon. There were no more secrets at this point. Why make up the bridge story?
Originally, Ross tried to still convince Haley that he is a human and that he was lucky to be the only survivor. It wasn't until Haley confronted him with the fact that he was totally dry, despite just falling in the water, that he came out clean and admitted he is Martian. Therefore, the false bridge story could be part of his original attempt to conceal who he really is.
Suggested correction: Maybe they decided to change plan and go all together at last moment. Doesn't make sense, I give you that, but it could have happened. Plus, Ross could have used some Martian magic to make both vehicles go on to the bridge at same time. If he can make lights go on and off and jukebox go on and off and have a third hand, we can safely assume he can do more magic.
Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up - S2-E28
Revealing mistake: As the Venutian asks the Martian to play music, the edges of the fake skin around the third eye is visible.
The Arrival - S3-E2
Other mistake: As part of the story line, three men see different tail numbers on the plane. However, the first and third sets of numbers are printed on a big sticker, because the numbers are a different style than the second set. Also, they used two different planes. The second tail number is N67588, which should be on the bottom of the wing, but that number is N107932.
Continuity mistake: When the Union soldier arrives on the horse, Lavinia points a shotgun at him, holding it at chest level. But when the shot cuts, she suddenly has it up to her cheek. (00:15:00)
Continuity mistake: When Fats makes his shot to set up the last ball for Jesse, the cue ball stops on the bumper side of the dot. When Jesse goes to take the shot, the cue ball is closer to the side pocket he's leaning over.
The Mirror - S3-E6
Visible crew/equipment: Clemente walks over to the portrait of the former ruler, and throws his glass. Just as he completes the action, the camera looks at the portrait. There is a movement of what appears to be a device on the right side of the shot firing the glass.
Continuity mistake: The events shown are supposed to take place at almost exactly midnight, yet when Conny goes to the graveyard the sky is bright and everything is well lit, much brighter than moonlight. Just as he enters the graveyard there is an abrupt change in lighting and the scene is suddenly much darker.
Revealing mistake: As Connie approaches the graveyard the sky in the background is obviously a painted backdrop, as there is a visible seam.
Continuity mistake: During the birthday party scene, as the close-ups and master shot are intercut, Anthony's hair changes back and forth from being combed straight forward to parted on the left and combed to the side. (00:15:10)
Continuity mistake: The captain goes to "Block 6" which we see is the 1st floor with stairs which are in line with the porch, but when he leaves the stairs go off at a 90 degree angle from the porch. (00:04:50 - 00:06:20)
Continuity mistake: The Block 6 door is closed all throughout the video, then when Captain runs towards the door it's opened. (00:07:55 - 00:14:55)
Continuity mistake: Becker is standing on the porch at "Block 6" and there are no handrails. When we return to Becker he is in the center of the square area and in the background handrails are there. (00:07:55)
