The Arrival - S3-E2

Other mistake: As part of the story line, three men see different tail numbers on the plane. However, the first and third sets of numbers are printed on a big sticker, because the numbers are a different style than the second set. Also, they used two different planes. The second tail number is N67588, which should be on the bottom of the wing, but that number is N107932.

The Passersby - S3-E4

Continuity mistake: When the Union soldier arrives on the horse, Lavinia points a shotgun at him, holding it at chest level. But when the shot cuts, she suddenly has it up to her cheek. (00:15:00)

A Game of Pool - S3-E5

Continuity mistake: When Fats makes his shot to set up the last ball for Jesse, the cue ball stops on the bumper side of the dot. When Jesse goes to take the shot, the cue ball is closer to the side pocket he's leaning over.

The Mirror - S3-E6

Visible crew/equipment: Clemente walks over to the portrait of the former ruler, and throws his glass. Just as he completes the action, the camera looks at the portrait. There is a movement of what appears to be a device on the right side of the shot firing the glass.

The Grave - S3-E7

Continuity mistake: The events shown are supposed to take place at almost exactly midnight, yet when Conny goes to the graveyard the sky is bright and everything is well lit, much brighter than moonlight. Just as he enters the graveyard there is an abrupt change in lighting and the scene is suddenly much darker.

The Grave - S3-E7

Revealing mistake: As Connie approaches the graveyard the sky in the background is obviously a painted backdrop, as there is a visible seam.

It's a Good Life - S3-E8

Continuity mistake: During the birthday party scene, as the close-ups and master shot are intercut, Anthony's hair changes back and forth from being combed straight forward to parted on the left and combed to the side. (00:15:10)

Deaths-Head Revisited - S3-E9

Revealing mistake: In the window there are already broken areas where the glass gets broken when Captain hits it. On the bottom pane the grill on the top, bottom and right have a crack before the Captain even hits it. (00:19:00)

The Midnight Sun - S3-E10

Factual error: The premise for this episode has a major flaw: the only things that could shift the Earth's orbit significantly are a near passage of or a collision with an astronomical body of sufficient size to alter the course of a body weighing 6.6 sextillion tons - the mass of the Earth. Either event would cause sufficient disturbances that cities would probably not be left standing, nor would there be anyone left to stay in or flee from them. While the events of the episode are mostly a dream, the revelation is that the earth is actually moving away from the sun, not towards it, so the mistake applies regardless.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: The Earth's orbit moves outward and away from the Sun about 1.5cm every year. Eventually though the Earth will lose orbital energy and spiral into the Sun. Norma and the rest of Earth exist in a time when the planet has moved away from the Sun.

The Jungle - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: Richards opens the door and finds a lion on the bed over his wife's body. When the door first opens, the corpse has dark hair and the blanket is twisted and disarrayed. But when the shot cuts to the lion leaping, the corpse's hair is a lighter color and the blanket is neatly spread across the bed. (00:23:40)

Five Characters in Search of an Exit - S3-E14

Factual error: When all 5 prisoners stand on each other's shoulders with the ballerina on top, she still can't reach the edge of the cylinder. But when just the 4 men do the same thing and the major throws his rope over the edge, he is somehow far closer to the top than he should be. He ought to be the ballerina's height and then some away - but he isn't. (00:21:30)

Nothing in the Dark - S3-E16

Continuity mistake: When the contractor forces his way into Wanda's apartment, she faints, her head landing in the center of the bare floor. But in the following shot, as the contractor leans over her, Wanda's head is at the edge of a large throw rug. (00:15:30)

The Obsolete Man - S2-E29

[A bomb in Wadsworth's room is seconds from going off, causing the Chancellor to panic].
Chancellor: Please, please let me out. In the name of God, let me out. Let me out! Let me out!
Wadsworth: Yes, Chancellor. In the name of God, I will let you out.

A Game of Pool - S3-E5

Trivia: Johnson's script originally featured an ending in which Jesse loses the game and yet finds himself still alive. Seeing this, Fats explains that he will die "as all second raters die: you'll be buried and forgotten without me touching you. If you'd beaten me, you'd have lived forever." This ending was eventually filmed when this episode was remade in 1989, during the first revival of The Twilight Zone.

Answer: It's explained in the episode. The aliens are experimenting to see how humans react to various scenarios. This just happens to involve them using super strength.

Thanks. It's been a long time since I saw the episode so I forgot.
