Identified - S1-E1
Visible crew/equipment: Near the start, Henderson and Straker exit the plane and enter the Rolls-Royce, then just as the car passes the camera, the reflections of the camera, camera operator, and another crew member with an arm up holding a small screen are visible on the window. (00:03:40)
Identified - S1-E1
Revealing mistake: When Sky One is launched, Peter replies, "Airborne, position 0-2-0 red," and in the following exterior close-up of Sky One, the four dark wires holding the aircraft are too obvious in this particular close-up. (00:31:10)
Identified - S1-E1
Deliberate mistake: While Sky One is flying above SHADAIR, Peter spots the UFO at 12 o'clock. He then tells SHADAIR they're the target. Peter's next two close-ups are flipped shots. Note his facial scars and helmet microphone. (00:32:35)
Revealing mistake: Due to re-used special effects footage, the submersible Sky One fighter, whenever it launched from the ocean at night, always took off under a full moon. (00:07:50)
Revealing mistake: Another piece of stock footage used throughout the series was a shot of the shiny metal sign for Harlington-Straker Studios. The clock on the side of a building is reflected in the sign's surface, always showing the same time of day - so it's 1:50 every time Straker drives by. (00:24:00)
Visible crew/equipment: Straker brings Paul Foster to SHADO Control and takes him into his office, then just as Straker says, "Ok, Alec, wheel them in," the boom microphone pokes into the shot at the left side of the screen. (00:44:05)
The Cat with Ten Lives - S1-E3
Deliberate mistake: When MoonBase Interceptor pilots put their helmets on before launch, the mics are on the left side of their helmets, but when they're space borne to intercept UFOs at least one pilot closeup is a flipped shot. Then, after Lake says, "They're wide open now, where are they," the interior closeup of a cockpit is also flipped; note "GYRO" is reversed. (00:02:25 - 00:04:55)
The Cat with Ten Lives - S1-E3
Visible crew/equipment: When Regan arrives on Earth for his 48-hour leave, at the security checkpoint he shouts, "Morgan, get out here," and as the camera tracks left we can see the reflection of the camera operator and camera dolly. (00:10:20)
The Cat with Ten Lives - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: At Murial and Albert's, when the ouija alphabet cards are placed on the table, the "YES" card alternates being between the "G" and "H" cards or the "H" and "I" cards, depending on the camera angle. Other cards change direction/position as well. (00:13:40)
The Cat with Ten Lives - S1-E3
Revealing mistake: Jim awakens alone in his car with the Siamese cat, and when he rushes out shouting for Jean, there are two black rods under the car's doors. But as soon as Jim gets back into his car, the rods vanish between shots. (00:21:55)
The Cat with Ten Lives - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: When Ayshea finds the Siamese cat wandering around SHADO Control, in the close-up of Ayshea petting the cat, her fingernails are short; but otherwise, Ayshea has long fingernails. (00:29:45)
The Cat with Ten Lives - S1-E3
Revealing mistake: Jim Regan waits inside Paul's car, then attacks him. When they exit the car, the door is up without a rod. But when they stand beside the car, there's a black rod holding the door up. (00:37:40)
The Cat with Ten Lives - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: Right after the "Immediate launch" on MoonBase, when it cuts to Miss Holland, she's walking from her office into Straker's office. The cat runs away from Holland, and in the cat's close-up, it exits Straker's office. However, this doorway is not leading to Miss Holland's office in this close-up. (00:41:20)
Continuity mistake: When the Apollo 8 space debris is shown, the print type of "USA" on its side changes between the long shots and closeups. (00:04:20)
Other mistake: Lunar Module 32 has number 4614 and more on its side; then it explodes upon re-entry to Earth. But later, when Paul takes up Lunar Module 29, it has the same numbers and markings as LM 32. (00:15:00 - 00:27:10)
Deliberate mistake: For reasons unknown and unexplainable, the otherwise spacious and well-equipped Moonbase has halls and doorways too short for the average human to fit through without ducking. (00:20:00)
A Question of Priorities - S1-E5
Revealing mistake: After SHADO Control alerts all ground radar to the red alert, when Sky One is launched, there are exterior close-ups of Sky One airborne, and the four wires supporting the aircraft are much too visible in these close-ups.
Continuity mistake: When Straker grabs the gun from Foster, we can see a man in a spacesuit outside Moon Base's control room window. But in an establishing shot just before this, we saw an exterior shot of the base, including that window, and the spacesuited man was nowhere in sight. (00:30:00)
Revealing mistake: At the start, when the surfaced SkyDiver searches for Atlantica survivors, in Waterman's close-ups SkyDiver's surface is semi-transparent. Later, when Straker is aboard SkyDiver, it happens again in his close-ups. (00:02:35 - 00:04:40)
Other mistake: When Paul is assisting Nina with the underwater breathing apparatus, in Paul's close-ups we can see bits of tape along his neck hairline, for his hairpiece. (00:27:25)
