Continuity mistake: Izzy tells the male patient she is a good doctor even though she was a model. Her hair is parted to the left and in the next shot it is parted to the right.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Izzy takes a purple plastic cup of coffee with her to work. In the parking lot she now has a coffee in a disposable paper cup. Then in the locker room, she is back to having the purple plastic cup of coffee. (00:02:25)

Continuity mistake: While Meredith and Izzie are in the kitchen discussing Derek, Izzie sets the freshly frosted whole chocolate cake on the counter, but when she takes a seat in the closeup there's a slice of cake already on the plate, and in following closeups the cake is either whole again or back with the cut slice. Continuity mistake: When everyone sits down for lunch, Izzy's bottle of water jumps from her tray to in her hand (as she drinks) between shots. (00:17:20)
Continuity mistake: Meredith takes over injecting George for Alex, and right after she stands behind George, Alex leaves. Just when he opens the door, suddenly you can see Alex is behind George and Meredith is just coming in again. (00:19:55 - 00:20:50)
Continuity mistake: When Meredith is trying to give George the shot of Penicillin the gloves on her hands suddenly appear in one shot. (00:20:00)
Continuity mistake: When Addison shows up at the end of the episode, the umbrella she holds keeps changing position and swapping hands between shots. (00:42:05)
Character mistake: When talking to a family, Christina says that the patient had "hematomachrosis" instead of "hemachromatosis"
Character mistake: Christina pronounces the dead patient's condition incorrectly. She says Haemotomachrosis. The condition is Haemochromotosis.
Continuity mistake: When Addison introduces herself to Meredith, she reaches out to shake Meredith's hand twice.
Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head - S2-E1
Revealing mistake: When Derek Shepherd tells Meredith about his wife cheating you see Meredith Grey standing by her car and you can hear and see the rain all around the trailer, while Derek Shepherd is sitting on his porch under an overhang. Before Meredith sits down you can see rain hitting the hood of her car. When Meredith sits next to him she is completely dry. When she goes back to her car the camera does a close up and she is still completely dry even though her car is covered in rain drops and you can see the rain in the background. (00:37:10 - 00:39:40)

Continuity mistake: When George kisses Olivia's forehead as he 'dumps' her, he embraces her head with his hands, but in the next closeup his hands aren't on her head. (00:38:55)
Continuity mistake: When Meredith and Christina lay on the grass in the park, Meredith's hands are on her chest but are by her sides in the next closeup. (00:01:55)
Continuity mistake: When Derek and Richard are in the lift talking, you can see Richard's head bandages under his hat. But when he removes his hat, his head is bare. (00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: When Derek and Addison are examining the premature baby and then begin to argue, Addison's elbow is resting on the glass case in some shots, but is instantly down in others. (00:09:30)
Continuity mistake: When Ellis Grey is shouting at George, calling him Thatch, Alex and Meredith run to the open door of her room. But in some shots you can see they are no longer in the doorway but are then suddenly back again. (00:16:55)
