Mother and Child Reunion - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: After Willie and Alf talk about what's for breakfast, in the far away shot Lynn has a bottle of orange juice and she begins pouring it into a glass, then she starts putting the lid back on the bottle. When the camera cuts to a close up of just Alf and Dorothy, not only is the bottle of orange juice already sat down but Lynn starts to grab her glass of orange juice without anytime to have put the bottle down, let alone to start to pick up her glass. Running Scared - S3-E17

Continuity mistake: After Trevor shows Kate and Willie the house for sale sign, Alf is in the kitchen talking into a tape recorder about being blackmailed. There are soda cans to Alf's right next to the recorder and one can of root beer on its side just above the recorder. When it cuts to Kate and Willie walking into the kitchen, the downed can has been moved, and the red can of cola is gone. After Kate says "And it wasn't my mother, either", there's a close up of Alf and the cans are back. (00:04:25 - 00:07:05)

ALF: Once we add sound, color and stick Eddie Murphy in there somewhere, it'll be a smash.

Border Song - S1-E18

Question: How did Alf grow so much zucchini when he insists that he didn't plant any? Did I miss something? Is there a deleted scene, maybe?

Answer: Regarding the "how", zucchini is an easy-to-grow vegetable that proliferates quickly, almost like a weed. My mother and our neighbours used to grow it, resulting in an over-abundance that was sometimes difficult to give away.

raywest

Answer: In addition to Raywest's comment, Alf must have planted some zucchini, unless it originated from a neighbouring property. He is probably joking when he says that he didn't plant any, because he knows the family is mildly annoyed.
